Media is a powerful source for
having an impact on the people particularly those who subconsciously adopt the
media values, textually and beliefs (Radcliffe and Lam 2018). The followers are
often unaware of how the reality is manipulated by the subtle messages and
glamorous that is conveyed to the users through a wide range of media. The
power of media is to unmake as well as make the image of Middle Eastern people
cannot be denied even underestimated (Lim 2012).
The reality is that social media portrays a strayed image about Middle Eastern
people particularly Saudi Arabia (Ridouani 2011). The representation of Middle Eastern
people through the Western media is not a new way for the fabrication of
impression on media users. In the real sense, the operation is deep rooted in
the first contact with Muslims and Arabs (Shirazi 2013).
A sufficient work is carried out
to verify the insidious depictions of Arabs and lurid conception. The
fabricated representation of Arabs on the media continues the threatening
factors on the cultural perspective (Howard and Hussain 2011). The media coverage
about the Middle Eastern people seems misleading and far from the reality,
consequently the expression of Saudi people and Middle Eastern People destroy (Howard, et al. 2011).
The present work is based on
cross-cultural research associated with the analysis of how the Middle Eastern
people are represented in the media and on the basis of research the fundamental
impact on the political system, cultural characteristics, and societal
structure, are identified (Radcliffe and Lam 2018). The impact of media
on the Middle Eastern people particularly Saudi Arabia is compared with the
United States (Qutub 2013).
The media of Saudi Arabia is changing rapidly due to the rise of digital
technology and the penetration of new technology in the Saudi Arabia media is
generating change in the image of Middle Eastern people (Oxfordbusinessgroup. com 2016). The potential
impact of media production is somehow reducing the negative influence on others
particularly in the United States (Howard, et al. 2011).
