Although patriarch societies do
morph the beliefs of male counterparts but even so openly hurting and torturing
females in the intimate relationship have other elements as well. Females are
delicate but they are not weak at all and this difference is often not
explained in communities which becomes the foundation of patriarch thinking. Some
other elements such as work stress, disputes, fights, and arguments contribute
to intimate relationship violence. If power has to be exercised then it should
be exercised in such a way that females are benefitted. Unfortunately,
patriarch systems don’t allow that (Fincher 2018).
Endorses Male Dominance
With the rise of 20th
century, male dominance in every sense was depleted from many developed
communities. However, patriarch communities still held the same concept but it
had decreased to a significant level as well. In term social acceptance,
violence against either of the partners is not allowed.
Along with the development of
communities, such systems have to be changed as well as they harbor such
fallacious beliefs. The equality of gender is withheld by every other community
and patriarch systems must do the same as well.
