The research strategy for this report is used the quantitative research
which discusses the various methods for the data collection as well as it is
used for the analysis of the data configuration. This research strategy is used
to resolving the problem of the Ice- Cold Company. Additionally, it tries to
identify the attributes of the financial respondents for measuring and determines
the problems of the Ice-Cold due to which the management of the Ice-Cold is
worried.
In order to analyze the problems that Ice-Cold Company has been facing
regarding component defects and issues raise by the HR, the Quantitative and
descriptive observational strategies are used in this report so that estimation
of the statistical analysis
could be applied. The problem faced by the ice-cold manufacturer the
quantitative technique is used by generating the numerical data and
transforms it to useable statistics. It is emphasized by this technique the
statistical and numerical data analysis. As it is obvious that “the exploration
procedure gives a methodical, arranged way to deal with an examination venture
and guarantees all parts of the task are steady with one other". The
exploratory research about the Ice-Cold
Company is based on the quantitative research study by using the
positivist paradigm and deductive research approach (Wildemuth 2016).
The quantitative method is used
for this research study of the Ice-Cold
Company because its good way of analyzing the data for determines the
solutions of the problems (Savela 2018).
The quantitative method is used to
collect the data about the Ice-Cold
Company as it is a more appropriate technique to conduct the research
regarding solutions of the problems. In the Ice-Cold Company business research, the quantitative technique is
the best option to choose. Though, this method has been criticized for being
relatively concerned with the analysis and measurement of casual relationship
rather than processes.
This design of the research study
is used for investigating the three problems of the Ice-Cold company in the
market of the United Kingdom. The secondary research is used for this
exploratory research study which is conducted by using the time series data
according to the 2014-2018 for identifying the problem of the Ice-Cold company.
The data is collected from the website of the company which is provided by the
senior manager of the Ice-Cold company. This Raw data is provided in the
appendix at the end of this research work. Due to the removal of the sharpness
according to the time series data these all series are considered as natural
logs. According to the neutral empirical evidence, the best option is this type
of log transformation. The software of the Microsoft is used for the estimation
of company data. The explanation of the
independent variables is given below.
In this research study, for the
problem one the research study has to examine the influence of the effective HR
program on the delivered number defects of the Ice-Cold it means in the aspect
one the HR program is independent variable and the number of the delivered
defect is the dependent variable. For problem two, the research study has to
examine the influence of the employee's age, level education and the training
days on the repair staff retention of the Ice-Cold it means in the aspect two
the repair staff retention is dependent variable and the employee's age, level
education and the training days is independent variable.
For the third aspect, the data is
analyzed by using the historical data of the previous years for the sales
forecasting. This data is analyzed by using the software of the Microsoft for evaluating
the values of MAPE for each model and the data is used to calculating the sales
forecasting for the next two years.
Statistical analysis of
Ice-Cold Defects
The SPSS software is used to analyze the data provided by the ice-cold
manufacturer so that chances of the data manipulation could be minimized (Willams 2007). The ice-cold manufacturer data, after being analyzed using time
series regression analysis are summarized and presented in the tables. The following statistical analyses methods are applied
to the ice-cold manufacturer data.
Simple
Linear Regression of Ice-Cold Defects
The regression test is applied to
the data provided by the ice-cold manufacturer to analyze the behaviour that
how the number of deliverable defects is reduced. It is also used to checking
the relationship of two or more than two variables.
For Aspect 1 of Ice-Cold Defects
after Delivery
In this aspect, Mr James wants to
analyze how the number of defects can be reduced according to their limits. The
chart of the scatter plots is used for analyzing this in which limit of the
defect considered as dependent variables and numbers of delivered defects is
independent variables.

In the above-given table the P
value shows the significance of the model and the results show that the time
variable for the ice-cold manufacturer is fit in this model. In this research study independent variable
is time, and the dependent variable defects. The
SPSS analysis has indicated that the value for R square is 0.563, and this
value shows that how much defects of the ice-cold manufacturer is affected by
the time. It means that defects are approximately 56% affected by the time. Moreover,
the SPSS results have indicated that the value of adjusted R square value is 0.556
that shows the percentage of variation in defects of ice-cold manufacturer due
to the time. The p values in the SPSS results determine the significance of the
variable (Estout 2018).

The above given scatter plot
shows in the 60 months the 375 deliver defects are and in this chart, the time
is considered as the predictors and the defects are known as the dependent
variables.
For Aspect 2 of Ice-Cold Defects
after Delivery
In aspect two, Mr James wants to
resolve the issues of the high turnover for the repair staff is raised by the
directors of the human resource of the Ice cold. For resolving this issue, the
linear regression is applied in the given data in which staff retention is dependent
variables and age, education and days of training of the employees are
considered as independent variables

Interpretation of the regression
In the above-given table the P
value is calculated through SPPS that shows that confirms the model
significance for the ice-cold manufacturer. In this aspect of ice-cold
manufacturer analysis, there are various independent variables i.e. age, years
of education and days of training while the dependent variable is staff
retention. In the above-given table, the SPSS results show the value for R
square is 0.665, and it shows age, years of education and days of training affect
the staff retention by approximately 66%. Moreover, the value of the adjusted R
square value is also calculated through SPSS that is 0.637 showing the
percentage of variation in the staff retention due to age, years of education and
days of training.
For Aspect 3 of Ice-Cold Defects
after Delivery
In the aspect 3, Mr James has
required sales forecasting for the next two years. By using the historical data
as well as soft wear of the Micro soft office the sales for casting has been
calculating for next two years 2019 and 2020 for both markets of the United
Kingdom as domestic and commercial. The sales forecasting is given in tabular
form and the Sales
are increased each year with the rate of 10%.
Domestic sales of Ice-Cold Defects after Delivery

Interpretation of Ice-Cold
Defects after Delivery
In the above-given tables the forecasted sales
are presented for 2019, 2020 in the domestic and commercial both markets, it
means the upcoming years of the sales of Ice-Cold are growing according to the
rate of 10% ratio. The growth rate can be estimated by assuming the previous
ratio of the growth of the sales. Y increasing the sales of the company for
domestic and commercial market the revenue of the company will increase and the
sales forecasting considers as the best approach for taking the decision about
the next years of the sales. The revenue of the past several years of the
Ice-cold can be seen as the growing, this ratio shows the company can take the
decision of eth forecasting easily because sales and revenue of the Ice-Cold
will increase in upcoming years instead of the declining.

The graph for the forecasting sales of the domestic market is generated
by using the Microsoft excels. The above-given line graph shows the variance of
the actual sales as well as forecasting sales. The line graph for the domestic
sales shows the forecasting of the Ice-Cold going very well and this company
can enhance its productivity.

The graph for the forecasting sales of the commercial market is generated
by using the Microsoft excels. The above-given line graph shows the variance of
the actual sales as well as forecasting sales. The line graph for the commercial
market shows the forecasting of the Ice-Cold going very well and this company
can enhance its productivity.
Discussion of the Results of
Ice-Cold Defects after Delivery
The results for this report are concluded as for the problem or aspect
one at Mr James wants to reduce the amount of the defective parts which cannot
be more than 50 in one month. For resolving the issues of Ice-Cold Company the
defects are considered as the dependent variables and time are the independent
variables far drawing the graph of the scatter plot for determining the and
building the relationship of the variables and the effects of the dependent
variables by independent variables. It shows the effect of the variables.
The results of the aspect two shows which are generated for resolving the
problems of the high turnover for the human resource department of the Ice-Cold
and this problem can be resolved by using the linear regression in this report.
The dependent variable is staff retention and independent variables are age,
training and the education of the employees. These results show the dependent
variable is affected by the independent variables with the highly significant
value.
It is concluded that Mr James who is senior manager of the Ice-Cold must
be a focus on the decision of the sales because the sales forecasting shows that
the sales increase in every quarter of the years which shows by using the sales
forecasting strategy the decision for sale can be strong. It is proved by the
sales forecasting the Ice-Cold Company can enhance their sales by using the
assumptions of 10% for domestic and commercial sales. The assumptions of 10%
per cent are considered as the best-suited standard for enhancing the sales of
the domestic and commercial markets. The 10% ratio is for the increase in sales
also seen in the historical data of the sales of the Ice-Cold.
