A team is all about cooperating,
working, and living with others for a specific task in human society. It is the
procedure of evaluating the efficiency of workers, assessing the information
and passing it, and using methods for increasing it. Additionally, it is quite
a common story that skills of team members are more significant than their
determination, attention, and vigor for various activities. Another myth is
that only members are not responsible for achievements and failures of a team.
In fact, all their abilities are accountable for several results as well (Salas, et al. 2013).
Within a team, working bonds and
relationships are present. They are considered important at some point in the
future while working towards a specific goal that involves commitment,
integration, and communication. Such skills are important when it comes to the
combined efficiency of a team in complicated situations. Reaching a checkpoint
requires better work effectiveness and it is manifested when all team members
collaborate to get to that checkpoint. A team is able to perform diligently
when all team members support each other and don’t let the spirit wither while
facing different challenges. It benefits the organization and helps in keeping
the success and confidence of workers high.
Compared to the individual
performance, team performance is superior because stress on each member is
reduced and valuable tasks of the organization are achieved. Teamwork allows
team members to stick with each other and share information and assistance. Moreover,
it integrated strong bonds among workers as they are appreciated with every
productive achievement (West 2012).
It can be backed up by an example from the medical field about a surgeon and
how success is guaranteed when it experts, anesthetist, and nurses work
together in a team. They know that their work efficiency depends on their
teamwork and cohesiveness. Furthermore, their devotion produces strong feelings
and helps the team succeed in every project. In a team, the manager has some
strong roles of confidence building, trust building, and team building for
approaching a certain task. When all members of a team contribute to complete a
task, it plays an important role in building positive bonds and relationships
among the team. It also helps a lot in improving the trust. Team members and
their functionality must be dependable, committed, and flexible. It must be
capable of helping the other when a tough situation arises in the path of a
project (Chmiel, Fraccaroli and Sverke 2017).
