Summary

The case study is all about the conflicts of the Hr managers for their team which is working at off-site, and the clashes are increasing among team day by day, but the managers of the offsite worker do not observe the whole situation. The case reached to the head of the HR who is Maggie Pinto. She wondered after hearing about them all situation. Craig Bedell who is the Hr manager of the off-working team, have noticed after receiving the email of the trouble between Penny and Allison and he goes to how dangerous was the situation. He sends the case to the head of the HR Maggie Pinto.

What is the major problem in this case? Can the rift between Allison and Penny be mended?

The major problem which is considered as the big problem in this case that is related to the communication gap among the managers and employees. As after receiving the emails of the Allison Scher and Penny Ryan the mangers of the HR Craig Bedell got worried due to the breakdown in communication irrevocable, and he did not notice before email, but after receiving the email he started for the patch up for the short term problem, and he wants to make it successful for the long term problem. Than the Craig Bedell arranged the meeting to in the form of the Penelope for discussing the performance of the Allison for knowing about more thing about this trouble and taking quick decision.

When the Allison heard his managers had arranged Penelope for discussing his performance in the meeting that he sends the email to his manager, I was disappointed to understanding that you have met to the Penelope to discussing my return and you don’t even inform me about this. I have told you about the situation which occurs between Penelope and me. The Allison wrote all the position which he has faced during the meeting with the Penelope and discussed his conversation with the Penny Ryan which is conducted in front of the clients, and he told him he has embraced just because of the mismanagement of the Penny Ryan and her unplanned discussion and decision.

Allison also said to his manager “At first, I attributed her behavior to the fact that she was not used to communicating from an offsite location.” I am not satisfied with her offsite working, and her attitude is totally against the manners of the off-site operation. This all situation is leading towards the communication gap among the employees and HR managers, and the case is discussed about the conflicts which occur due to this communication gap (Capozzi, 2019).

According to the theory the management rules cannot be changed for supervising the people even you don’t see you employees face to face. This theory is discussing that communicating electronically cannot be useful as speaking with the person face to face. There are several concepts which can be skipped during electronic communication. Even the body language of the person cannot be observed during electronic communication. No doubt it is considered as the quicker way of shame, but it cannot be adequate for resolving the complex issue. There should be proper communication among the leader and employees. In practice, at off-site locations to managing the peoples means that it required more rigorous management approach.     

Application Question No 2.

How Maggie Pinto, will be fair in handling the case of the Allison to which theory he will be followed? 

The Maggie Pinto who is the head of the HR manager now take the case of these both person in her own hands, and she wants to solve the problems of the employees in effective manners. The Maggie Pinto must be followed by Maslow’s theory which is explaining that an individual must be motivated according to his need and his levels needs. It means that the individual must be driven at their levels of the requirements. The progress of the individual is depending on how his needs are addressing at each level of his activities (White, 2018).

At the basic level, the needs include social needs, favorable working conditions, security, and psychological needs. By ensuring the employees about the safety of the workplace the needs of the individual can be addressed. The individuals must be directed for friendly and respectful environments. It also includes the needs of the higher level as self-esteem and self-actualization must be addressed in this case. To recommend the Maggie Pinto firstly, she shouldn’t abandon her plan for rolling out the companywide flextime strategy.

Therefore the individuals of the company must learn from their formal institutional training and current difficulties to their managers for teaching them about the communication on the environment of the telecommunication.  Maggie must understand the missteps of Craig, and he must be trained for managing the various world and preparing the matters of the different environment. Few of the responsibilities must oversee by her and her departments for not observing the kind of multiple difficulties, and these responsibilities must be crop in the new system. Maggie must be suggested several ways to Craig for taking actions for his employees in solving their difficulties in effective manners (Maruca, 2019).        

Recommendation

It is recommended that managers of the company must take part in the extensive training process. It must be included in training that how the realistic objectives can be achieved, how to communicate clearly and hoe to establish. To defining that what work is due and when it will be completed. Hoe the ongoing specific feedback can be provided to the employees of the organization. How loyalty and openness can be demonstrated. Hoe the work can be a mentor as a self-starter. The employees of the Off-site require similar training for communicating the work effectively far away from the offices. In the new environment for working efficiently and effectively, the employees of the company also require practice.  If the company will provide guidelines and transparent policies, intense training program for their employees at their workplace and the results of the off-site worker will be increased as well (Maruca, 2019).
