With the development of
technology, both societies and cultures have changed tremendously. Such new
technologies have actually become the source of a massive change throughout the
industrial field. Obviously, information technology has met not only various
sectors of management but also HRM or human resource management. Rapid
advancements in the field of technology have offered new digital and
intelligent means or specifically technologies to the meet the issue and
counter them which at the moment are being faced by HRM. In human resource
management’s field, countless advances in technological area have emerged and
influenced HRM, the largest is none other than the renowned Internet. The
environment is changing and there has to be some necessary changes in HRM for
remaining renewable. Therefore, new technological solutions are required and
must be considered in such a way that professionals of HRM can concentrate more
upon the work that contributes in adding value and leaving the usual manual
work to automation and technology.
Businesses no doubt depend a lot
on HR and that it must harness the efficiency of technology to be able to
continuously play an integral role in assisting firms manage and anticipate
organizational modifications (Jiang, et al. 2012).
