It can be said that AI’s or
artificial intelligence’s field struggles to actually build and understand
intelligent entities. It is simplified as a computer program which has the
ability of carrying out functions which are quite intelligent. Institution is involved
when it comes to recruitment even if most of the times it is not noticed and it
plays a strong role in the process of decision-making. It is the aim of AI to
evade irrationality and that is why it attempts to delete all irrationalities
which are yet to be eliminated. Such capability of AI is used in recruiting
because it is very important to treat all employees with equality.
In the process of employee
recruiting, AI methods can be easily applied for instance with the use of
techniques which concern the extraction of information that initiate the
process of identification of resume and relevant information’s extraction. AI
also has the power of achieving personality models and carrying out an accurate
recognition of personality. Therefore, an AI might be able to translate the
personality of an application and even compatibility with the work by
processing the application letter. Since communication is quite important in
recruitment, the main reasons and causes why artificial intelligence is needed to
excel in natural languages concern. The first one is efficient communication
with humans and the second one is gaining data from a language which is written
(Kolbjørnsrud, Amico and Thomas 2016).
