In the literature review section, different
research studies are evaluated to know what other researchers have already
contributed to this field and what the research gaps are. Different studies
related to the e-commerce business in South Asia will be analyzed to determine
what issues the e-commerce businesses are facing and what solutions the other
researchers have proposed for the success of the e-commerce businesses. After
the analysis of different research studies, it can be analyzed which methods
proved more successful for the company. The literature review provides brief
information regarding the topic and will help in formulating the valid results.
The literature review has enormous significance in the research because through
extensive literature one can provide new information to the people and try to
reduce the research gap.
For instance, in the study conducted by Tran
Phi Hoang, Tran Thi Hue Chi, Nguyen Kim Tuan and Le Hong Linh have provided a
brief overview of the online shopping trend. This study can provide detail
information about different factors which this study is exploring [3].
In the research study the authors [4] have discussed the
ecommerce business in detail. The study has focused the developing countries
and how travel agents are adopting the ecommerce website. Through this study
the importance of ecommerce platform can be analyzed along with the potential
of profit generation.
