What has been the purpose for stories in early civilizations?

        An approach to do analysis on provided documents and texts is known as hermeneutics. Stories are the way of communication from early civilizations. It has been a way to teach lessons, pass on cultural values and stop listeners from unaccepted behavior. Bublitz et al. suggest stories as “structured narrative” and believe that purpose of stories is to communicate with audience, listeners and readers in a way that they remember the information which is passed on to them. No matter what are the characters of the story or plot of the story, it is kept in mind that audience can relate to it and follow the positive steps.
