            The Ford Motor Company is working as an international auto manufacturing and selling company over the globe. Analysis presents that there are some areas of improvement for the company that can ensure rapid progress in the market in case company make improvement in these areas through developing and implementing efficient strategies. For instance product failure rate is increasing in the company that presents the clear inefficiency in the operations and productions process. Takata airbag issues and recall in 2015 are the key examples and evidence for this problem. Considering this factor my recommendation for the Ford Motor company is to pay enough attention to the quality management approaches. Ford Company should improve the quality assurance system from manufacturing plants to the retailer’s outlets.   

            The recommendation is related to the quality improvement. In modern age, when a large number of substitutes and alternative options are available in the highly competitive market. Maintaining customer loyalty is becoming a big issue. Customers are really concerned with the quality. If they are paying high they want best quality. In, such situation company should not ignore quality issues. In fact more efforts done on the quality assurance and quality improvement can ensure more benefits for the company in the short and long run. Therefore promoting improvement in the production system to reduce production failures is a best and applicable recommendation.  

             Ford motors can work on this recommendation through improving lean management systems used in the company, and through ensure continuous improvement process. Management can collect data and use Benchmarking to find out the areas where improvement is required. Ford Company can apply system reengineering in some area after identifying the operational areas that has high tendency of errors.

               The second recommendation for the Ford motors Company is to enlarge its market shares through using the geographical expansion strategy. Ford Motors Company is currently working in the highly competitive markets while their competitors are also exploring new markets and geographical regions to expand their sales. Current market of Ford motors Company is based on these countries, China, Turkey, Argentina, South Africa, Mexico, Canada, Germany, Brazil, Australia, and United States and United Kingdom. While research findings indicate that Ford company is not performing enough well in the Margining market that are now the target of Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, and other competitors of the Ford motors Company. Considering all the important factors it is recommended to the company to pay more attention to the Emerging markets.

                Through working on this recommendation Ford motors Company can earn several short-term and long term monetary benefits. Geographical expansion and focusing more on the emerging market will not only enhance the operational market for the company but also increase the chances of enhance in the sales (Kotler, 2008). Entering in the new market will also develop the strong image of the company in the highly competitive market.   

              Ford Motor Company can work on this recommendation through planning and implementing new sales plan in the emerging markets and new markets. At the first they have to collect information about the customer requirements, economic condition, level of demand, social factors and the current competitive condition of the selected regions then they can select the best region for their operations on the basis of potential level and how much the region meets the current strategies and operations of the company. Big data Analytics, Social media platforms and direct survey strategies can be used for selecting the best market for the company. While before selecting a geographical region social, legal and political condition of the countries should be also analyzed.
