The characteristics
of the nominal scale are that, it is divided into two or more categories. And
it is quantitative in nature. (Bhat, 2018).Ordinal
scale characteristics is identifying plus explaining a magnitude, with the
relative rank of variables. Ordinal scale, the properties of interval is
unknown. Ratio Scale has the absolute zero characteristic, which orders the
equally distanced value among units. And it also not has the negative number.
The characteristic of the interval scale is permit to calculate the median and
mean of variables. And it is preferred
in statistic. (Bhat, INTERVAL SCALE: DEFINITION, CHARACTERISTICS WITH EXAMPLES, 2018)
