Water play significant role for
the survival of life and without water survival of life is impossible.
Presently scarcity of water exist which is alarming situation for human beings.
Out of 9 people 1 person has not access to safe drinking water and in 3 people
1 person has no access for sanitation and toilet facility which is very drastic
condition for us and need to change the use of water wisely. However, it is
necessary to consider the issue of water sanitation globally and it should be
resolved from different aspects which expand from the small village to the
whole planet. Moreover, after the access of safe drinking water can resolve the
problems with the time that improve the health of people around the globe. In
this study, importance of water for drinking and sanitation, problems regarding
to scarcity of water as well as the address the harmful impact of scarcity of
water nationally and international level to sort out the problem (Montesano,
2016).
In developing countries people
faced scarcity of water like in Africa where people suffered from the lack of
water for sanitation according to the survey of Millennium Development Goals
but irrespective of this report, millions of people also live in scarcity of
water. At the time of election of 1994, the government of Africa promised to
provide all basic services to the people which are necessary for the survival
of life and they focused on the water sanitation issues. as in 1994, where 50
percent people of Africa lack sanitation facilities but in 2010 only 21 percent
people faced the scarcity of water which was the great achievement of Africa.
The government of Africa developed the sustainable plan regarding to sanitation
issues in the Durban with the purpose of introduced solutions that can be
implemented in other developing countries. According to the MDG, more than 2
billion people faced the scarcity of water and solutions are provided around
the globe (Owusu, 2010).
