technology and software (Innovation-management. org, 2018). The implementation
of Enterprise resource planning system in the business can be carried out by
management software and it allows the organization to develop a complimented
system through an integrated application that improves the services,
technology, and human resource management (Khayyam, Hamid; Bab-Hadiashar, Alireza, 2014).
In
the present work, the integrated enterprise resource management system is
developed to explore the practices across the enterprise and management. SugarSquared Inc. is the manufacturing of
candy in Riyadh City of KSA. The company requires an innovative action plan for
the implementation of an enterprise system and to improve the integrated system
across the functional areas of the company (Khayyam, Hamid; Bab-Hadiashar, Alireza, 2014). In the present
work, some of the challenges faced by the company are accessed to solutions to
overcome the issues are recommended. The implementation process and benefits of
an enterprise resource management system are also considered in the evaluation.
The present work will discuss appropriate methods, challenges, benefits of the
implemented systems, and the way to implement the system.
Challenges of Enterprise system in Sugar Squared Inc in Riyadh City of KSA
SugarSquared
Inc. manufactures candy and then distribute the product in all the areas of
KSA. The organization has more than 300 employees and they are in three
locations of the distribution regions. The functional business unit of
SugarSquared Inc. is currently working in the Silo and the under separate
legacy systems the data pertaining process is carried out. Different
departments are involved in data pertaining process and require special
consideration for the development of improved enterprise resource management system
plan in the company.
The
major challenge faced by the company is related to the data acquisition
process. The data acquisition system is quite expensive to be developed. The
system of acquisition is necessary for rowing business as according to the needs.
The management system considers the acquisition of enterprise resource
management system and maintains a list of things (Hiles, Andrew, 2010). In simple words,
the management is required to plan, prepare and develop the adequate system as
required by the company. The company should analyze the previously existing
system and to integrate the new software system. SugarSquared is required to
perform a risk analysis that comes after the implementation of the new system
and vendors of enterprise resource management system. SugarSquare is required
to conduct SWOT analysis before implementing a new strategy (Khayyam, Hamid; Bab-Hadiashar, Alireza, 2014).
