Conclusion and Outcomes of Social media platforms

        In this chapter, we presented several studies that provide us a better understanding of the sentiment analysis concept; we found that there is a lack of available sentiment analysis tools that support Arabic language especially Saudi dialect which led us to choose working on sentiment analysis of Saudi tweets. Some of the studies helped us identify the challenges we will face during our work and the steps we will follow to perform the sentiment analysis.

        We analyzed many websites and applications that focus on sentiment analysis and have similar objectives. In order to identify the common features, we compared these websites and applications with ours. This comparison will assist us to focus on the issues they have to avoid them and have a better performance. Furthermore, our concern about people’s opinions cause us to conduct a questionnaire and interviews. The result made us notice that the majority will benefit from knowing public’s opinions about any topic they are interested in, and the time they spend on obtaining other’s opinions is relatively long. As a result, we aim to build a website that collects and analyzes Saudi tweets, then classifies them into three categories positive, negative and neutral.
