-My mother taught me many
cultures in US such as “trick or treating” in Halloween and having a dinner in
Thanksgiving, and we celebrate Christmas as well. In Japan, we do not have
Halloween and Thanksgiving, even Black Friday. However, we celebrate Christmas
with a present for child, and eat special Christmas cake which surprisingly
American people don’t eat.
-In Japanese culture, we have a
holiday week called Golden Week in the first week of May. We also visit
family’s home place from the end of December to 2nd or 3rd of January for
celebrating New Year with cousins, relatives, and more. Actually we have more
special cultural days but they are not holidays. I know something about the
culture of the United States from my mom she told me various circumstances and
activities of the people of the united Stated she had told me something about
the civilization of the United States. She had told me about the festival of
the Halloween and the belief of the people of the US behind this festival which
is related to the dyeing people is meeting to us at particular day whenever the
Japanese people did not believe on this festivals. The Japanese people eve
don’t celebrate the black Friday while they celebrate the Christmas with lot
feelings and enjoying emotions and Japanese have trend to meeting with family members
and relatives at the new years for wishing them each other and gave each other
good wishes. There is not huge difference in the Japanese and US culture rather
than the civilians of the United States did have any special days to meeting
with their family and relatives whenever Japanese are celebrate these days from
heart to toe.
