According to the Best P (2014)
the consequences of the health related issues as well several task of the
welfare is transferring toward the self-medication by using the path of the
social networking sites. Which is positive on one hand but this uncompleted
information can be harmful it would be used by the children. Social support of
the networks has significant emphasis wen the psychological cost is considered
as the association of the emotion’s conquest which is caused by the limited
social support. Social networking sites are increasing the positive mental
health for the human being. Social capitals are reported by the social
networking (Best, (2014)).
According to the Pantic (2014) the sign of the
symptoms of the depression and computer mediated communication can be
identified by the several studies and these all studies are creating connection
between the sign of the symptoms of the depression and use of the social media
sites. According to the present psychiatry research this relationship will
always remain controversial. There are lot of reason due to which the users of
the Facebook are going to be depressed
as well as there are so many factors by which the depressed person are found
the way to spending their significance time with face book (Pantic, 2014).
As depicted by the research study
of the Jelenchick (2013) for the
adolescents of the colleges the most famous internet activity is the social
networking sites. Above than 70% of the teenagers are involved in using the
social networking sites particularly Facebook. The report is released by the
American Academy of the predictors which is also shows the effect of the social
networking sites on the teenagers and children’s. The depression is shown as
the significant cause due to the use of the internet for the social media
sites. This relationship is indicating the significant relationship with for
the health risk (Jelenchick, 2013).
Hypothesis of Impact of Social Networking Sites on the Mental Health of the Children and Adolescents
H1: There is
significant positive relationship between the Use of Social networking sites
and Mental Health of the children and adolescents.
H0: There is
not significant positive relationship between the Use of Social networking
sites and Mental Health of the children and adolescents.
