The research study is conducted
by using the two types of the data as primary and secondary data. Secondary
data which is used for this research study is taken from the previous studies
of the various authors and it also leads toward the previous research study
which is conducted for the knowing about the relationship of social networking
sites with the mental health of the teenagers. There are several research studies which are
supporting the objective of this academic resa5rch but this reach study is
conducted for knowing about the mental health of the
St Mary's School, Cambridge who are affecting positively or negatively by using
the social networking sites. The primary data is generated for this research study
by designing the questionnaire [6].
Research
Design of Impact of Social Networking Sites on the
Mental Health of the Children and Adolescents
The both type of the research
method is used to conducting this research study as qualitative and quantitative
research study. The qualitative research study leads toward the secondary fata
and it support to the literature of the research study while the quantitative
research study is based on the statically and numerical analysis of the
research study. By generating the numerical data the research problem and
question can be solved by using the quantitative research method. The
statistical and numerical data analysis can be emphasis under this technique
while in the qualitative research method the results can be compared,
generalized as well as summarized by using the supporting studies particularly
the part of the literature of the research study.
Sampling
and population of Impact of Social Networking Sites on the
Mental Health of the Children and Adolescents
The research study that
is used in this study is dictated from the type of research problem which is
analyzed. The sample size is 150 students which are selected from the students
of the schools. The simple random sampling is used for this research study. The
population of this research study is taken as the institute and organization
from where the participant is selected. The data is selected from the students
of the St Mary's School, Cambridge. The respondents
are the students of the grade 8 to 12 and the sample size is 150 it means the
data is conducted randomly from the students of all standard and grades of the
school at middle level [7].
Research
instrument of Impact of Social Networking Sites on the
Mental Health of the Children and Adolescents
The questionnaire is
used as research instrument in this research study. The adaptive research questionnaire is for
this research study which designed by considering the five point likert ranging
scale from strongly disagrees to strongly agree. The four questions is designed
for the dependent variable which is the mental health of the children and
teenagers whenever the four questions are designed for the independent variable
which is the use of the social networking sites. The entire questions are design
for both dependent and independent variables by considering the mentality and
the understanding powers of the student and it have drawn in very easy language
which can be understand easily.
