In 2015, the estimated cost of air and water pollution was
responsible for 16% global deaths. The contaminated water and air pollution have
killed more than 9 million people and this ratio is considered larger than the people
die from hunger, smoking, AIDS, war and natural disasters (Balali-Mood, Ghorani-Azam &
Riahi-Zanjani, 2016).
The commission on global warming has estimated the financial
costs due to pollution as huge. It is totaling $4.6 trillion annually. This
cost is estimated as 6.2% of the economic level of output. It is
also evaluated that every dollar spent on the reduction of pollution is going
to provide three times benefit back. The sustainability management programs in Yellowstone
National park are implied by the organizations to control the level of
pollution (Change, 2018).
The efforts to clean up the environment are the increasing
to help communities in pollution reduction. America is involved in cleaning
efforts under regulatory authorities. This is related to clean the air from
chemicals that are harmful for health and biodiversity. The chemical regulations
are intended to lessen the harmful impact on environment (Ferkany, 2011).
The estimated finding suggests that 9 out of 10 people are breathing
polluted air according to WHO. The effects of organic air pollutions are
devastating and increased amount of sulfur diode, nitrogen oxide and volatile
materials is creating dangerous impact. The toxic substances are eliminating
plants and aquatic life. Many living organisms are migrating from more polluted
places to other atmosphere to reduce the impacts of polluted environment (Jiang, Ma & Zhu, 2013).
