From the semester, Brian Smyth
has been my favorite speaker. He used to talk about the worth of an engineer. Brian
Smyth let us know that how important an engineer is to our society and how an
engineer contributes to our daily life as well as the whole world. I have
chosen Brian Smyth as my favorite speaker because I found him really motivating
and encouraging the person that has the ability to drive the potential of his
speakers into something useful.
Brian Smyth has made me realized
the worth of an engineer that made me really interested in the work that they
do. The worth of engineer in each and every aspect of life is something that I
learned during the presentation of Brian Smyth. The presentation of Brian Smyth
really changed my views about engineers. I used to think engineers are just
normal persons like other people working in the society and after listening to
the presentation of Brian Smyth, I came to know that engineers worth much more than
what I used to believe.
Brian Smyth has met his responsibility
of informing the audience about what he is talking about while keeping the
whole attention. Brian Smyth had taken various steps in order to accomplish his
presentation goals such as identify the audience, set a strategy, and make the
presentation by preparing the message. Brian Smyth did not only informed me but
also persuade and inspired me. Before this, I had limited exposure to the role
and significance of engineers. While presenting the oral presentations, Brian
Smyth made sure that he was enough knowledge about the things he was going to
talk about and that he picked really interesting and attention-grabbing points.
I felt like Brian Smyth was familiar with his audience before the presentation
and he knew that he could be persuasive.
