I have chosen the
role of Bailiff for the Mock Trial. I am aware of my duties as a bailiff and
have the confidence to perform them properly. Accompanying the main person who
is none other than the judge, I will announce the presence into the courtroom. With
the availability of witnesses, I will call them to the stand. In case of a
dangerous situation, I will protect every attendee and make sure that no one is
ever harmed. Keeping both of the parties in mind, I will make sure to collect
the evidence from both the parties and the juries. I am very well aware of my
job to accompany the sequestered juries to their specific place. Despite the
situation, I will be sure to keep my progress up to date with the paper work.
Needs
and Independence of Elderly
Independence
although is considered to be free at the house but only a specific small amount
of elder people is free by such treatment. Moving to a nursing home is a very
huge change and it can cause a lot of distress among elder people. In the elder
generation, developing independence is very important as many seniors feel
happy that way.
Considering my role, I will always be on the logical and
lawful side. Whatever the law decides, I will always be following it and make
sure that I never step away from it. Though, I will also care for the seniors
and give them the extra care that they require. My duty revolves around the
courtroom only. However, I will assist the judge in every possible way to
ensure that only the best decision is made.
If there is a case when elderly people are involved, I
will be sure to offer them the extra care so they are at ease. It is my job to
offer assistance and i cannot let anyone take the advantage of mental or
physical incapacity that the elderly people might exhibit. [1]
