Photographer
Photography is an art to capture
the truth and reality. Ansel Adams, Rondal Partridge, Pete Turner and Alan Ross
are the famous name who made the history of the photography. The fame earned by
these photographers was because of their talent, knowledge, efforts and skills
in photography. However, above all of others Ansel Adams is my favorite
photographer. He got fame as the historical photographer because of his famous
clicks in the past history. I admire the photography of the Ansel Adams because
of his capability towards capturing extreme details, high quality of the
pictures and the color scheme of his photographs.
Ansel Adams was the photographer
who introduced himself as the best photographer of the America. His photographs
are known as the Gelatin Silver Photographs. His technical skills and
understandings towards the color adjustment to capture the realist high quality
pictures was wonderful. Because of his talent and efforts in the photography he
achieved the awards of sierra club John Muir award, Hasselblad Award and the
Presidential Medal of Freedom. I like photography particularly historical
photography, therefore I view the photographs very critically and deeply.
In my views the photograph should
have the capability to elaborate the exact situation of the time when it was
taken. If a picture taken during the war cannot capture the miseries of injured
military officers, or expression of power on the faces of army while attacking
then the photographer cannot be considered as good photographer.
I appreciate the work of other historical
photographers also. Even, they all did well in the poor circumstance but the
efforts of Ansel Adams are really astonishing. His photographs are in black and
white color but still the images are clear and understandable. The sharpness
and quality of the images are high that create differentiation for his work in
comparison to the other photographers of his time. In my views his work is relevant
to the history because he captured the historical pictures. He also captured the pictures of the world
war. In the world war he supported the country. He secretly captured the
photographs of Japanese for the military.
In 1941 he also took the photographs
of the national park for the department of the interior. His photographs are
placed in the museums of the United States. He also worked for the San
Francisco Art institute. He is known as the historical photographer as most of
his photographs are based on the historical events. He captured the important
historical events that provide the view of the history of America.
The photographs taken during the
war provide the exact situation of the war. However, his work is not only
limited to the historical events. In fact he was a nature lover he captured a
number of photographs of the nature. His famous photograph of clearing winter
storm in 1937 is also placed as historical photograph in the museum for the
public. As a nature lover he captured the photographs of several parks and
water dams as Boulder Dam, Glacier National Park, Grand Teton National Park,
Death Valley and Owens valley in California.
