

These all values are for finding the
stress and they are evaluated with the help of graph given for solving the
problem.

Actually young modulus is the slope of stress and
strain graph. If we observe the graph of stress –strain curve then there is
linear observation in starting which shows that by applying load there will be
the linear change in length.
Young modulus is affected by the temperature and the
material which is used. More value of
the young’ modulus shows that it requires more force to deform it. If the material is more elastic then it has
less young’s modulus of elasticity.
From table calculated value of young’ modulus is 22317
MPa which shows that material have very large strength. It require very large
amount of force to deform it.
In table: stress is in (pa) and in (MPa)
MPa = 106 Pa
If we put value of stress in the formula then unit of
the young’ modulus is the same as the unit of stress.
