I am as the manager of a fast food
restaurant and I consider the job of a cashier. There are some main inputs of
the cashier that include he must be loyal with the restaurant, honest with his
duties and also he has skills to do his work quite effectively. The outputs of
cashier are the responsibilities he has to perform for this job. He must have
to receive and count the total cost. He must have to remove all the issues of
the customers. The count of total cash and also all the information about the
revenue he has to update on time.
2. There are some advantages and disadvantage
of downsizing. The disadvantage is that when the demand decreases so the big
stores like the Walmart work on decreasing the price of their product and also
give some special offers to the customers. The store’s HR department will not
work on decreasing his labor. They have to work on the offers on their
products, if the offers are valid so that they can able to respond to the
decline in demand quite effectively. An advantage of downsizing is that this
will help the organization to move forward in a quiet way (Jane, 2018).
3. For the selection of an employee is very
critical task for the organization. There are many activities involved in the
selection process. The main activities can be primary in which they have to
check the background of the candidate, checkout the reference, his technical
knowledge and emotional intelligence. For starting the selection process all
the applications are reviewed by the HR department and then they select the
candidate according to the required job. Then after this they have to call the
main candidates for the interview and ask them about the capabilities. For the
last time when I was hired the HR department take some test like IQ tests
according to my field.
