Part
A: Major Forces affecting the distribution
of Healthcare Today
Various
factors such as economic changes, customer satisfaction and changes in
technology are transforming the delivery
of healthcare across the globe. The health care organization have to consider
these factors so that they can provide the best
medical care to their patients. One of the significant
factors that affect the delivery of healthcare is the economic changes that occur in the economy. Due to the economic reforms the cost of the health care
organization increases which means that the delivery of healthcare services
become expensive. If the value of the
healthcare organizations will increase, then they will no longer be able to provide
affordable healthcare services to their patients, and that’s how challenges for the health care organizations and
professionals arises (Brook, 2016).
The
second dominant force that affects the delivery of quality healthcare is
the level of satisfaction of the patients. Many patients today are not
satisfied with healthcare services due to
many reasons (Lee & Mongan, 2012). The reasons for the
patient’s dissatisfaction is that many
healthcare organizations unable to identify what the patients are looking for. It is essential
to focus on the needs and preferences of the customers so that their
satisfaction can be increased. Another dominant force that affects the delivery of healthcare today is the rapid change in
technology (Lee & Mongan, 2012).
The
technology today is changing rapidly, and
many health care organizations to sustain
in the long run keep on upgrading their technology. When the hospitals
implement new technology the employees who are working in the hospital face
difficulty because they are not trained and does not know much about the latest
technology. Therefore the hospitals face issues when new techniques are
implemented. Such problems can be resolved by providing proper training to the
employees
Part B: Delivery Opportunities &
challenges of health care organizations & professionals
There
are many opportunities for health care
organizations & professionals to provide the best health care services to patients. Through effective cost-cutting measures,
the health care organizations can provide affordable health care services to
their patients even when the economic situations are not stable. The patients
always want the best quality health care
service on affordable price. The hospitals today have the opportunity to take
help of the latest technologies which not
only improve the efficiency of the hospitals but will also reduce the cost up
to a lot of extents (Brook, 2016).
Health
care organizations have the opportunity to increase customer satisfaction by
focusing on their needs & preferences. The health care organizations can
take feedback from their patients who
will improve the comfort of the customer. However,
there are some challenges for the healthcare organizations as well such as the implementation of the latest technology. When the health care organization is going to
implement new technology, it will have to
train the employees which means that the cost of the hospital will increase.
Although most of the software & programs are not much costly still some damage will be involved in the implementation
of new technologies (Lee & Mongan, 2012).
There
are many opportunities for hospitals through which they can achieve success in
the long run. By focusing on the operation, productivity and efficiency
hospitals can deliver good healthcare services to their patients.
