Summaries of Seminaries (Climate Change and Renewable Energy)

This seminar was EIT Governing Board and Executive Committee that focus on the sustainable energy and the Knowledge and Innovation Communities themes.  In this seminars a lot of sustainable energy consumption and generation idea are presented by the speakers. Herrmann also indicate in the seminar that there were said to be major areas of synergies with KIC theme of 'climate change mitigation and adaptation, for example carbon capture and energy efficiency; storage; energy storage; alternative fuels; heating vehicles; the electric economy etc; or hydrogen financial system. He also emphasis that the overlap was not just anticipated, except seen as an encouraging part to have KICs on critical topic of sustainable energy. On behalf of the purpose of the process of assessment, the applicants of the KIC will on the other hand require to recognize the middle topic area (climate change and mitigation adaptation or sustainable energy) for the application.

Seminar 1: 20th International Conference on Renewable and Sustainable Energy

This seminar about the sustainable energy was actually a typical scholarly event aims to bring the leading researchers, research scholars and academic scientists to share and exchange their research and experiences outcome on every feature of the Renewable and Sustainable Energy. It also likely to offers a foremost platform of the interdisciplinary for educators, practitioners and researchers to offers and discusses the most current trends, innovations and concerns and also realistic solutions adopted and encountered challenges in Renewable and Sustainable Energy field. The selection of paper carried out throughout process peer review and also at presentation stage of the seminaries conference. Seminar 2: 10th International Conference and Expo on Oil and Gas

This seminar was help on 10th International Conference and Expo on Oil and Gas, that focus on the increasing air pollution, rising prices and fuels shortage have enforced the scientists go for alternative sources  of the fuel. All of the sources of energy that can be logically replenished are the sources of the renewable energy. Sometimes these terms are interchangeably used. There are some of the beliefs that all sources of the renewable energy are sustainable and there is no disparity among two terms. On the other hand, this is not said to be completely true. The Renewable energy also comprises all of the sources that is not likely to cause any kind of damage to atmosphere and have negligible surrounding environment impact.  It can also be said that the sustainability is more broad term and comprise different sources energy.  Some of the sources for example wind, solar, wave, hydropower, geothermal, hydrogen  and tidal  are  sustainable  and also renewable  since they have least impact on background while the Nuclear power is not measured to be renewable, but it is said to be more sustainable as it contaminate the atmosphere. This is said to be the single cause that all sources of the renewable energy are sustainable but sources of the sustainable energy are not renewable.

Seminar 3: 2018 Deloitte Renewable Energy Seminar
