To design the doubly reinforced concrete beams the following things
which we have to explain. We have to plot the shear diagram as well as also the
moment diagram according to the situation. Before we draw the shear diagram we
describe the behavior of the shear if the shear stresses horizontal occur and
to cause tensile stresses by bending stresses where that cracks the concrete.
To bridge the cracks vertical reinforcement is required that also known as
shear stirrups
For this code we need to
initialize all the value, the first step is to initialize the value of pu that
is the force value, the user can able to change this value according to the
requirement and also initialize other value that are the input arguments . These
input arguments are Ag, phi, k, fcp and fy
This is the function
that is used to calculate the gross column for the beam, then in the next step
the gross column value through using this formula
The function will help to
find out the total cross section area of the column. For this the first step is
to initialize the input arguments for using this function then apply the
formula to find out the cross sectional area of the beam.
This function will help
to find the value of spacing required between the bars. For this the first step
is that we have to initialize the number of bars required. The first step is to
initialize the bar number that will be taken from the user, then after this
apply the, if else condition means that if the user select the bar number 3 so
it will tell you about the bar area.
This function will found
out the value of associated moment. For applying this code the first step is to
initialize the value of all input arguments. If the input value of fy is 40 and
50 so that the value of r changes. If the value of fy is greater than 60 so the
value of r changes according to that. s
