For lowering the rate of turnover, it is important to make sure that the employees are satisfied and it can happen when the organization is communicating effectively with workers. After all, employees turn back because they are not satisfied with how they are being treated at the workplace. For satisfying the employees, it is important to know the reasons first. Therefore, the company can solve the issue by knowing the reasons first and devising a strong plan for solving these issues. Employees have various issues and it is significant to realize what issues these are and what can be done to solve these issues. 

The second strategic staffing problem is the fluctuating workload and the organization being unable to handle it. This problem occurs when the company doesn’t have enough employees for managing the work and effectively handling the workload. There are two solutions either the company can hire new employees for the time being when the market is at a peak. When the work is finished, the organization can get the system to work at the same condition. Then there is another solution and that is concerned with making sure that the employees are satisfied and willing to cooperate with the increased workload.

Finally, the last issue of organization which is the lower wage makes the firm lose competition in the market. Understanding the duties of the required position and then adjusting the wage to be slightly higher than the competitors will help the company in attracting employees and increasing the employee satisfaction. It is the strongest advantage that the company can take by raising the wage of workers (Phillips & Gully, 2012).

Strategic Staffing Issues & What to do to resolve these issues

Employees are considered the resource of every other company because they drive the company forward and become the reason of success which the organization achieves in its long-run. However, it is not that firms are equipped with workers from the very start. Actually, a company and its management have to hire the best talent around for the position and derive the results which are needed. In the fluctuating market, it is very difficult to counter all issues that arise and might arise in the future. Some issues are linked with staffing and in order to be productive all the time, it is necessary to manage such issues. 

In my company, there are some strategic staffing problems such as high turnover, fluctuating workloads, and lower wages of the workers. Due to these issues, the company is unable to operate at its fullest and it is giving the competent an advantage which is not beneficial for the firm at all. For the organization to ensure that revenues are being generated and the employee satisfaction is high, it is important to mitigate these issues. The very first issue such as the high turnover for my company is due to the fact that employee satisfaction is low due to factors such as lower wage and it keeps new talents away from the company.

The second strategic issue is the fluctuating workload. Since the company is unable to hold on for capable employees for a long time, it becomes very difficult for the firm to operate efficiently. Whenever there is a strong workload, it cannot be dealt with properly because there are not enough employees to not be overwhelmed by the work. 

The third strategic staffing problem is the lower wage of employees and it is pushing the best talents away from the company. When it comes to hiring efficient workers, wages have to be higher because there are many other competitors in the market and they are willing to pay higher for the same position. Therefore, employees are attracted to the competitor and the organization suffers damage.
