It
is quite interesting to hear the facts that Dan Gilbert has explained in his
TedTalk. The whole talk comes to a conclusion that change is the only constant
thing in our lives, and every other thing has to be changed. It is interesting
that come people make wrong imaginations of their future, and some of them even
are not able to imagine anything. The people have self-beliefs which shape
their lives for next ten years, or for their whole lifetime. So, it all depends
on their thinking approach that how things will work in the future. One has to
analyze his/her personal beliefs as well as habits to make a future, which is
far better than the past or present. The people will eventually turn out to be
after ten years, what they right now. It means that future lies in the thinking
and habits of today. The people do make mistake by underestimating their
abilities and sometimes stops to flow with the positive change happening in
their lives. The people have to closely look at their core values and habits,
and analyze that which ones are going to benefit them in next ten years or so. If
there are habits identified with wrong assumptions, then one should get rid of those
habits so that things can be more positive in the future. One has to embrace
the change in his/her life and look for a better future with positive set of beliefs,
values and habits.
