Here we investigate the technical feasibility of converting the paper mill sludge into fuel ethanol. Here we discuss about the N-VIRO Biodry Process. In this process to dry the sludge heated air is used or by-products manure mixed with alkaline. In a rotary drum dryer drying is done. Compared to the conventional process less by-products is used for disinfection since part of the required heat from the dryers comes. Final product could be better controlled final solids content.
