Introduction of Internship Report On “Al-Aoula”

In Al-Aoula Company, I performed internship. At the company, I actually operated in the department of finance where the focus was upon the management of assets, financial planning, and mitigating financial risks along with risks. In performing the tasks that I was assigned, I was helped with assistance, I was able to carry out financial research along with the deposition of money. It can be no doubt said that I have gain effective knowledge about the financial transactions and just how revenues are generated by the company. At the company, there is a good and comfortable work environment in the company which helps a lot in building an efficient team communication and spirit. Considering the company’s proactive work environment, I have no doubt become stronger and it has pushed me towards my future goals as well. Through the feedback of managers, I was able to exploit my hidden skills and it let me know just what type of talent I actually possess. Now that I have professional experiences, I can easily and effectively communicate with others.

Description of the Organization

I completed my internship in the Al-Aoula Company that is responsible for broadcasting in various languages such as French, Berber, and Arabic. The company actually has another name as well which is TVM. It is basically a station regarding Moroccan Public broadcasting. Additionally, it is also the very first SNRT’s television channel. The station is diligent when it comes to broadcasting and makes sure that nothing is lacking when it comes to the trio of languages. As far as its headquarters are concerned, it is present in Rabat and was introduced in almost 1962. It is additionally the very first network of televisions to not only transmit but also develop the programs which were its own. In the country, there was no such television network at that time and Al-Aoula became the very first. In almost 1962, the channel began to transmit broadcasts which were colored and not colorless like the usual (Alaoula, 2018).

Internship Expectations

 At Al-Aoula Company, I was assigned to the department of finance and I had the role of managing assets, making sure that financial problems are addressed properly, and ensuring that financial planning was efficient. It can be said that expectations regarding my internship revolved around a better understanding of financial operations along with the management of revenues and how to sell the oil. Furthermore, I also had to know just how financial operations and principles worked and integrated in a firm. Therefore, I got not only experience but also learning along with confidence through my participation in the financial department of Al-Aoula Company. I knew that I had to perform better and that is why I had to get help while advancing because I knew help from the management meant a lot.

It can be said that when it comes to the region in which Al-Aoula operates, it is one of the rapid growing and adapting companies in which the board of officials is more than just a little efficient. All the employees are communicating and collaborating with each other to ensure that the development of the company is not hampered or being resisted to at all. Every other worker has a strong role to play in the progress and that is why all workers are willing to help each other so that the company is able to stand firm without having to look down even once. Indeed, the company has been achieving goals after goals and obtaining more revenues ever since it has been developed and with the passage of years. After all, the executive management of the company has been acting as a pillar for the company to stand strong. Both the financial team and the management team collaborate to facilitate the progress of Al-Aoula.

As a financial analyst, my contribution along with my role was not only efficient but effective as well because I was always concentrating upon my work. Additionally, never for even a single moment, I took a step back. Instead of turning away, I took a part in several financial operations and activities regarding the management of assets and revenues so that consistent progress was being made. I also worked to produce efficient results regarding the financial planning. For producing better financial results, I went through the accounting information as well so to make sure that financial risks and irregular problems were not damaging the company.

Structure the Department Related to Major

At Al-Aoula Company, I carried out my internship and since I worked in the financial department, I had to concentrate a lot upon the financial operations of the company. I had to make sure that assets were being managed properly along with revenues. I also had to ensure that erratic financial problems don’t harm the company in any way. As my major was linked with the department that I was assigned to, I had a glimpse of what I was supposed to do. When it comes to activities, I took a part in various because I knew that through participation, would be able to sell fuel and manage the revenue. Another task of mine was to identify the company’s expenses which I again focused upon to produce efficient results (Hatzakis, Nair, & Pinedo, 2010).

As far as the financial department of Al-Aoula Company, it actually dealt with all the financial operation the company and assessed the accounting information as well to make sure that the company didn’t have to face a crisis regarding the financial part. In the department, all the financial information is stored and regulated for various purposes such as company’s decision making. Furthermore, even the information of market is dealt with efficiently.

As a financial analyst, I paid attention and got to know that every other person the department of finance is very attentive and serious about the business and market activities. There is a strong concentration upon the business’s financial information such as records and assets. Additionally, there is data regarding other firms as well. It can be said that the team works in such a competent way that the company is always prepared for the market situations whether they are poor or beneficial for the company. All the members are highly skilled in terms of finance and have financial skills which are required to perform efficient actions and product meaningful outcomes.

Duties Discussion

While working in the department, there were various tasks that were assigned and I carried out them efficient such as auditing the data, coordinating and collaborating with the team while ensuring that the progress was in the right direction. Although I found it very difficult to audit the limitless data in a short period of time but I still completed the task and produced the outcome. Additionally, I recommend some slight changes in the financial operations of the company so that financial situation of the company can be analyzed effectively. Therefore, I kept the track of company’s assets while analyzing the information connected with accounts.

At the firm, I concentrated upon the management of assets, handing of irregular financial issues, financial planning, and identification of expenses in terms of both control systems and audits. Additionally, I focused upon principles of finance while making sure that all the financial reports are accurately made. Other than the financial knowledge, I got to know more about my own potential and hidden skills. The most important thing that I consider is that I got to realize just how to work as a member of a financial team. Concerning my daily duties and tasks, I carried out activities in the department as well when the managers were available to support me. At Al-Aoula Company, I have achieved knowledge regarding not only financial policies but also financial purposes along with procedures which are more than just a little important for a company and a department to run successfully. At the company, I got to learn about the rules and regulations as well which are important in the management of financial principles and aspects.

Organizational Assessment

With the concentration upon Al-Aoula’s organizational assessment, it can no doubt be said that the firm is considered one of the best telecasting providers in the region. Tracking the progress of company, it can be evaluated that the firm has had a better performance than other competitors. Additionally, the firm is focusing upon improving the financial processes and enhancing its standing in the market. Since I was working in the financial department, I had the task of identifying expenses of the market so that competitors wouldn’t take an advantage of the situation. Indeed over the time, the company has only improved as far as the financial sector of the company is concerned. Therefore in the assessment of processes concerning the measures of finance, it can be said that there are various financial aspects.

During the firm assessment, it is determined that the company has countless satisfied consumers or customers in the region as the company is offering better solutions and services compared to their competitors. Al-Aoula is considered a rapid-developing firm as it has been successful in maintaining an effective bond with officers and all other employees who play a significant role in the development of the company. As a financial expert, I had an efficient understanding of all function and aspects. At the company, I concentrated upon the maintenance of financial data along with the information on assets. Al-Aoula is actually gaining success in terms of financial activities because the financial sector is operating efficiently without lagging and it is pushing the company forward. Along with the financial processes and various other operations all related with the financial sector such as the management of assets, I got to realize another important element playing a significant role in the success of Al-Aoula and that is actually the motivation of workers. Manager makes sure to motivate every worker so that effective outcomes are produced.

Work Environment

With the concentration upon the company’s work environment, it can be said that operations of the company become effective only when the employees are motivated in the right direction and the influence is positive. This way, the produced outcomes are more effective and if Al-Aoula is concerned then it has some of the best financial teams backing the company up in terms of both the operations and results. Additionally, human rights are taken care of properly there. I paid a lot of attention to the leadership styles being used by my leader and it was evaluated by me that “Participative” and “Transformative” style of leadership was being used as we were always being motivated and helped in various ways. The work environment there is quite relaxing and every other worker is treated equally. Although I was not able to perform every other task due to my lack of experience. However, I was helped a lot by the teams.

At the company, workers are very talented and they are able to manage their tasks efficiently. Every department is improving with time and trying to produce the best outcomes. Al-Aoula is attentive when it comes to ethics and rights which are given to the company. The officials of the company consider it their problem when employees are facing an issue. Furthermore, attention is given to employees so that they are protected from any type of harm.

The teams focus a lot when it comes to offering new and productive ideas to the company for increasing the task efficiency. The culture there is quite effective because there is an encouragement of oral communication. Furthermore, the manager is almost always prepared to assist the workers if they are ever facing a problem.

In order to increase the harmony in working environment at the company, respect is given to both language and religions of the workers. Considering the overall work environment, I can clearly say that workers at Al-Aoula are not only flourished but they are also given a lot of opportunities in terms of learning and helping the company. It has been identified by me that the workforce at the company is quite competent and ready to tackle every other hurdle. Not only have I enjoyed but I have also acted upon the feedback given to me by my manager who also encouraged me to work in an efficient manager.

Lesson Learned of Internship Report On “Al-Aoula”

Through working in Al-Aoula Company, I have not only learned but I have also gained professional skills along with knowledge about the aspects of finance which I didn’t know before. I also go to know just how a firm works to stay stable and produce efficient outcomes in the market. Furthermore, I got to know about the financial operations which are carried out in the department for managing all the financial information.

At the company, the learning was quite effective. Considering the fact that I had sufficient knowledge of finance before performing the internship, I got the necessary information and knowledge about financing aspects such as auditing. There is no doubt that the processes there were more than just a little effective. As I knew more about the financial policies, I also realized my own capabilities. It was indeed an in-depth experience. Lastly, it was analyzed by me that I am capable of planning my own future career in the field of finance. Meanwhile, the biggest thing that I got to learn was just how effective management could lead the company to success.
