Human resource management has a strategic, innovative and
important role in running an organization. The purpose of HRM is to gain
competitive advantage from its employees. It is the capital department of an
organization which utilizes human force and human work in making organization
great. HR is the business partner of the organization and plans strategies to
drive organization towards success. Without well prepared and trained work
force organization cannot progress and fail to compete with national and international
competitions. The HR has knowledge about all the issues and how to solve them.
The managers and CEO need to have closer look at the
strategies of Human Resource Management if they wish to have a viable work
environment. The training and development programs by Human Resource enhance
the skills of newly recruited or promoted employees. It helps them to have
greater knowledge about their new job. High performance work place activities
are found to be in positive relation with operational and financial operations.
HR is responsible to perform certain roles in an organization and those roles
include; strategic planning, maintenance of personal records, recruitment and

for transforming vision into reality. The managers in HR start the practice of
policy designed by HR but implementation of those responsibilities is duty of
Line managers who are directly accountable for this. It is the duty of line

of employees. Therefore guidance should be given to line managers as they are
vital part of the organization.
Job satisfaction and motivation increases when employees are
appraised and motivated. Establishing an effective and efficient role in
organization is a tool of HR of an organization. The motivation among employees
and corporation can be intrinsic or extrinsic.
In conclusion, HR can bring great changes in an organization
such as lower rate of turnover, low rate of production, increased employee
satisfaction and morale, difference in management, sense of recognition and
progress.
