Introduction of the traveling industry of the Kuwait

In holidays, people like to spend time traveling around the world. Therefore, in Kuwait, the traveling industry is successful; such as, traveling agencies and airline services. One of the most famous airline service in Kuwait and in the gulf region is Jazeera Airways. Jazeera Airways is a Kuwaiti Airline company that is not owned by the government. In this Report, the plane of the project, distribution of tasks and responsibilities between the group member will be explained first and what would be expected as a result of the team work. Second, the reason of selecting Jazeera Airways for this Project will be explained and how the team members decide on this company specifically. An over view of the company will be provided in this research, including mission and vision of the selected company, product and services provided, and other company’s information. Finally, the team members will provide an Environmental Analysis of the selected company. This analysis will include an external analysis and eternal analysis of the selected company. 

Project Plan Discerption and distribution  of the traveling industry of the Kuwait

Our project plan is simple and straight forward. After we choose the company we would like to research about it. We put a plan for every week to meet up to check the progress of each member. The tasks that we involved in this project are; research, checking for proof reading, visiting the professor in office hours for feedback, putting the work together, and checking the format of the paper. So for May, she was responsible for getting general information about the chosen company, and Zahraa is responsible for using the information gathered to do the internal environment analysis of the company. Fatemah is responsible for checking and proof reading the document. And finally Anfal is responsible for putting the work together and making sure that the document is in APA style. This project work will allow the team member to gain experience in group working. The team member will know about each other’s skills and use it in this project. Also, this project ca help us to see our weaknesses and strengths in group working and will help us to fix and overcome the weaknesses and improve the strengths.    

Jazeera Airways of the traveling industry of the Kuwait

After considering many existing companies, we chose Jazeera Airways for the project research because it is a good example of a privet local company in Kuwait specially that al Jazeera was the first privet airline company in Kuwait. The process of choosing the company was made by search many local companies. First, we looked up on the listed companies in Kuwait Bursa website. Second, we searched many companies and read briefly of the companies’ overview and history. One of the companies we put into consideration was Sultan Center. At the end, we choose Jazeera Airways because of the information about the company is more available than other company that we thought and searched about. Moreover, Jazeera Airways is known and most selected airline in Kuwait, for the many destinations that Jazeera can go. And for the lowest prices in the airline market in Kuwait and the Gulf region.

Synopsis of the Company of the traveling industry of the Kuwait

As mentioned before, our chosen company is Jazeera Airways.

Jazeera was established in 2004. Jazeera is the first Privet airline company in Kuwait also in the Middle East. Jazeera is one of the little privet companies that still in business until today. With serving 1.2 million passengers each year, Jazeera can reach more than 17 famous destinations that is loved by many people in the middle east, destinations such as; Kuwait, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dubai, Bahrain, Beirut, Cairo, Luxor, Sharm El Sheikh, Sohag, Alexandria, Amman, Assiut, Mashhad, and more. Jazeera offer for their customers other services such as park and fly service where their customers book car parking and travel to their destinations in Kuwait International Airport. Also, Jazeera owns their own terminal in Kuwait international Airport to make it easier for their passengers to locate the departure gates, and to make the check in process faster for the passengers. Jazeera provide their customers Airbus 320 planes including two classes; first class and economic class. The first class passengers get extra services than economic passengers such as; accessing Jazeera lounge and get 50 kilo grams for each bag. Also, the employees will make sure that the first class passengers will get what they wish and make sure that they get it with convenient, and gives the first class the priority to enter the plane. For the economic passengers, they are offered with 30 kilo grams and get served with duty free market on board. Jazeera made partner ship with number of world famous hotels and car rental companies to provide the finest and most convenient service to the passengers and to go to new destination more when booking for their journeys. Jazeera doe not only offer flying service, Jazeera provide cargo service that the customer can depend on Jazeera cargo agents. Moreover, Jazeera makes sure to provide the high standard of safety and security, for Jazeera is a member of IATA (About Jazeera, n.d.).

The Mission of Jazeera Airways is to provide experience for the passenger and seeking better ways to do it. Provide the lowest cost airlines in Kuwait and the Middle East. Also, find new ways to excite the passengers to travel new destinations. The Vision of Jazeera is to be the reason and provider of inspiration to their passengers by going to new destination and offer new destination and flying around the world; also, inspiring the passengers to travel more which will allow Jazeera to fly to new destination than the available distention that they already offer (About Jazeera, n.d.).

The Services that Jazeera offer, as mentioned above, flying service to al Middle East destinations, and recently Jazeera now goes to Turkey and near Europe countries. In 2017, Jazeera’s fleet size is seven Airbus. Jazeera provide two classes services. The first Class have better service than Economic class passengers; for example, the First class passengers get excess to 50 kilos for the luggage and for the economic they only get up to 30 kilos. Other service that Jazeera offer, Park and Fly. When the passenger books his flight, they are given the option to book a parking for their cars in Kuwait international Airport. Each parking has a price; usually, the price of parking near the airport gate gets higher. Also, Jazeera have their own Lounge for their passengers. That will make it easier for the passenger to check in quickly and locate their departure gate quickly. The passenger can book their flight either by travel agencies or they can book online. Jazeera offer bundle of ticket and hotel booking of a acceptable prices that will make it easier to and more reliable to book a good hotel in the chosen destination; also, they can book a pick up service, or rent a car from a car rental company that Jazeera partnered with in different destinations (About Jazeera, n.d.).

Jazeera have organizational Stakeholders. Jazeera is committed to do only ethical work with between the stakeholders. According to Jazeera Airways website, these are board directors in Jazeera; the chairman is Mr. Marwan Marzouk Boodai. Vice Chairman is Mr. Mohammad Al-Mousa. The board members are; Mr. Marzouk Jassim Boodai, Dr. Ahmad Abdallah, Mr. Hany Shawky, Mr. Dermot Mannion, and Mr. Bertrand Grabowski as Independent board member (Corporate Governance, n.d.).

The Industry of the Jazeera is Travel, flying, and aviation. Jazeera is one of the little travel industries in the middle east that is a privet company. The market competition is not so strong or so weak for Jazeera, for they provide the lowest cost in travel industry but do not provide al destination like other airlines such as Kuwait airlines. The customers of Jazeera are any civilians from any country in the Middle East who is above 21 years old, and can be single passenger, or families (About Jazeera, n.d.).

Jazeera Airways future goals are to be the leading privet airline in the gulf region and the Middle East that provide cheap ticket prices. Other future goal is to open new destinations such as west Europe countries such as France, Britain, and Germany; other continent countries such as the United States. Also, to open destinations in far east Asia such as Japan and China. Other future goal is to inspire the customers by providing destinations and make more people love traveling (Jazeera Airways Answers Your Questions, 2006).
