From an organizational perspective, social media is a great way of creating campaigns and interacting with their customers. Marketing sectors of organizations don't have to stick to the traditional ways of advertising and spend a lot of money. They can just create a page of their and post about their activities while advertising their products. On the official pages, companies don't even have to think about distances when it comes to interacting with their consumers.

Negative aspects of social media

Besides the benefits that come with social media, one of the most serious issues that are associated with the use of social media is that individuals who tend to use it abandon the reality around them. They spend most of their time on a specific platform and back away from direct interaction. This issue has already been prodded and solid evidence has yet to formulate.

It means that even though social media is extremely useful, it is also one of the reasons why people are thriving for virtual relations instead of real relationships. Prolonged use of different platforms of social media can lead to severe addiction and it can even harm the health of users. Addiction also becomes the reason why it becomes very difficult to focus on a certain task. For students, this addiction is the most worrisome because they seek to spend most of their time using a particular platform of social media. Although they can connect with their friends, they also need to spend their time studying and focus on their education.
