Question: What techniques are appropriate to select as well as applied for database administration?

In this task, the focus will be turned from database systems to database administration. In this section, I will try to find appropriate techniques by selecting them from range of techniques, and then applying them with regards to database administration.

To complete this task, I will again research various sources on internet; specially journal articles and books to see what techniques have been used and proposed by scholars in previous literature.

Question s: How many security issues are related with database management systems, and what strategies are considerable to deal with these security issues?

In this particular task, the focus will be security issues relevant to database management systems, as these systems have to deal with various security threats. After identifying few particular threats, considerable strategy will be indentified to deal with each security issue. s

For completion of this task, relevant literature will be reviewed to see real world examples of security issues faced by database management systems, and what strategies were used by companies to deal with those threats and issues.

Reflection Report:

The above mentioned questions are quite technical and specific to database management systems, so they require a lot of research and time to figure out answers for each question. This report is to suggest a database management system with required elements for Gulf Institute of Advanced Technology (GIAT), so it is important to dig out each and every aspect of the topic so that an appropriate and effective database model with essential steps is proposed for GIAT. First of all, I will make a scheme of action that how I am going to take this research study forward. I will handle one task at one point of time so that I am not confused with plenty of information regarding these concepts. I will research internet resources like Google Scholar, E-Books, and many other library databases to find relevant data and articles. Once data will be gathered, it will be reviewed in literature review with its relevancy to each question so that conclusion and recommendations can be made with clear statements in the end.
