Corruption is considered as one of the biggest challenges
that the world is currently facing. Corruption is an intricate political,
social and economic phenomenon that has significant impact on the society. Corruption
is consider such factor that causes decline in economic development, creates political
volatility
Corruption in Oman
For the business of the Oman corruption is not to be obstacles
but the risks are going to be higher when the dealings of the people are going toward
the nepotism scenario for the widespread of the largest government echelons. The
interest of the intervened business for the political elites which have been
resulted for perceiving the extensive corruption and the political corruption
is also included in this widespread term. Many business and organization are
facing the high corrupting in the Oman which is creating the risk for the
operations of the procurement and public sectors. Therefore the barriers do not
exist for the business just because of the pretty corruption. In the Oman the
practices of the bribery is no common because there is any strictness in the
organizations of the Oman (Issan, 2016).
The struggles are continuing for controlling the corruption
between the officials of the government and many other individuals which are
leading towards the many high ranking prosecution and to preventing them from
the corruption and crimes. This have becomes the abuse for the official
environment from years. To tackling the
corruption the legal frameworks are arranging by the Law for the Protection, Omani Penal Code
and Avoidance of Conflicts of Interest. These all laws are implemented
effectively by the Government of the Oman. The Government of the Oman is taking
several steps to controlling the corruption in the Oman. For the Oman to giving
the gifts ton any authorized personality when you are dealing with your basic
rights it must be considered as the major crime (Leff, 1964).
The corruption is an abuse for any nation and country even
because it can destroy the structure of the governments it can create the
misunderstanding between the author and professionals. In the common word the
corruption can be defined as the abuse for performing the commanding duties for
your private interest. The corruption can be classified in to various types such
as politician, grand and pretty which depends upon the lasting amounts of money
and various sectors where the corruption is occurs (Transparency Org, 2018). It is predicted by
several reports the rate of the corruption in Oman is little bit low as compare
to many other developed countries because the rules and regulation which are
implemented in Oman are too strict just because of the Islamic civilization (Saha,
2013).
Effect of Corruption on Economic development in Oman
There are several countries with the emerging economies and
these are suffering from the high level of the corruption by which overall
economy development can be slower down. Just because of the inefficient
allocation of the resources the overall society is affected by it. If the economic
development of the Oman will down it can affected the quality of the health
care and education of the Oman and when the quality of the education will be
effecting it can create the negative impact on overall economy of the Oman. The
economic development of the Oman which is affiliated with high level of corruption
it included the misusing of the power by giving and taking money and it can be
authority to achieving the desired goals and task by using the illegal ways.
Unfair and dishonesty of the person are considered as the corruption within the
organization and outside the organization (Oecd Org, 2015).
The corrupted economies can destroy the infrastructure of
the country because no one function can be perform properly in the corrupted
economy and the corruption can stops the natural laws of the economy to
performing freely. The corruption for performing the political; operations of
the nation of the Oman can become the cause of its overall society to
suffering. The entire society of the Oman can be suffered just because of the
corrupting Government Oman. The economic development and corruption in Oman has
inverse relationship with each other because if the corruption will be high
than the economic development of the Oman will be decrease and increasing the
economic development of the Oman its necessary to reduce the corruption in Oman.
It is predicted by the reports of the World Bank the income of the country is
less than 3 times just because of the high and low level of the corruption. It
means the country which is affiliated with high corruption its income would be
lower than 3 times of the low level corruption (MIRZAYEV, 2018).

The rule of law and good governance is ending because of the
corruption and providing the equality to the citizen of the Oman becoming the

corruption. It is includes in the
democracy foundation as well as violation for the human rights and laws. The
corruption can destroy the social environment of the Oman because due to the
corruption the poverty in the Oman is increasing and the loss of the trust can
created by this when the civic spirits are undermines and it is creating the violation
on the part of people according to their institution and leadership. The corruption
can become the waste of the public’s resources and many other regulations are
avoided by it and completion and rules can be distorted. The
social development is impossible when the corruption is existed in the Oman or
any other country (Saha, 2013).
As results it can be said the corruption can be the major obstacles
for the social development of the country. The hinders of the social development
and public finances can be undermines just because of the corruption. The
domestic and foreign investment is also effecting by the corruption. The social lives of the people of the country
can be disturb just because of the corruption because the corruption is
directly involved in destroying the social; development of the Oman. But
luckily the rate of the corruption in the Oman society is too low just because
of the Islamic civilization and Islamic culture of the Omani nations (Ktit Jalal, 2016).

reformers who have name on the top of the list of the reformers. Corruptions

performance of the businesses (Shadabi, 2013).
These all issues are requiring the reforms ideally. The
lower cost of living, Ibdai disposition, measures against corruption and the
job growth which is focused on the employment opportunities as compare to reform.
Sultan bin Timor who have riled in the
sultanate of the Oman for long time period during the 1932-1970 he have saw many
criticism for the living conditions in Oman. The development to taking stands
stills. The polices of the Said was leading toward the conservatives, greedy,
passive and it was using little wealth of the for the infrastructure of the
proactively.
He did not care the Omani sultanate have the great oil
wealth for the ruling it. He did not take
steps for the development of the public welfare and education sectors. In the
1970 there are several miles of the paved road in the Oman and there were 5% literacy
rate in the sultanate of the Oman, but the infant mortality rate is above tan
75%. These all conditions are talking about the issues and challenges which are
faced buy the many reformers of the Oman. But all of the reformers have made good
struggles to save their country from this abuse of the corruption and now das
the Oman is included on the developed countries on the map of the world. The
struggles are continuing for controlling the corruption between the officials
of the government and many other individuals which are leading towards the many
high ranking prosecution and to preventing them from the corruption and crimes
The corruption is an abuse for any nation and country even because it can
destroy the structure of the governments it can create the misunderstanding
between the author and professionals (Ticambodia.org, 2018).
