The participants were able to identify the themes
which are very important in the community, and it is the best that the Las
Vegas area is ranked in any of these that was okay (Kreuter, 2003).
b. How
is the quality of life perceived in our community?
The community strength and
themes assessment are revealed as the positive regard for the quality of life
in Knox County. Although the positive rating and the high ratings for the
different attributes are expressed, the participant who is also identified the
various issues of the concerns and the areas for the improvements. The participants
who are ranked in the quality of life in area are below then 2.5 out of 5 anode
its indicating to improve the variety an the large number, so assets offer the
possible resources for the improvement of the community.
c. What
assets do we have that can be used to improve community health?
To improve the community health,
the participant was able to identify the assets in the different categories: Informal
sectors, History, Voluntary sector, Future plans, Environmental, public
sectors. The recurrent themes which are good weather the wealthy individuals,
access to politicians, and the demographic diversity, faith community along
with the opportunity of village. To improve the community health the community
resources have existed as well as served as the foundation for the implementing
and the planning initiatives. The shared responsibility of the public health
officials and the health care providers are improving the community health
which contributes to the individuals (Ragsdale, 2010).
Assessment
2: Local Public Health System Assessment (LPHSA): This
assessment focuses on all the organizations and entities that contribute to the
public's health. The LPHSA answers the questions:
- What are the components,
activities, competencies, and capacities of our local public health
system?
In the LPHSA the participants were given the post
and pre assessments for the two major conceptual components;
· Familiarity with 10
essential services
· Identification with
public health services
And in the essential
services there are different activities;
· Optimal activity
· Significant activity
· Minimal activity
· Moderate activity
· No activity
The
LPHSA improved community communication and organizational collaboration. The
LPHS identified the weakness as well as a strength, which is provided the
baseline of the performance measures to track the future progress. By the LPHS
the assessment creates a snapshot of the different activities to improve the
process (Livehealthylane, 2019).
- How are the essential services
being provided to our community?
In
our community, the essential services are explained what public search to accomplish
and carry the basic responsibility if the ideal public health systems. There are
ten essential services which are provided in our community;

· Mobilize
· Plans and develop polices
· Link
· Enforce
· Evaluate
· Research
By suing the 10 essential
services like the framework and the total of the 30 standards like (2-4 model
of standards as per essential services), which is describe the optimally
performing of the local public health systems (Healthymiamidade, 2017).

3: Community Health Status Assessment: This assessment
identifies priority community health and quality-of-life issues. Questions
answered include:
a. How healthy are our residents?
Affordable and safe housing
is an essential component for the health communities, along with effects of the
problem relating to our housing schemes is also widespread. The affordability,
as well as availability of the varied and health foods options, is increasing
the community like the resident with the nutrients and the balanced diet. The
significant barriers to eating healthy foods are the lack of access to healthy
foods. To maintain a healthy weight and prevent chronic disease it is very
important to eat the fresh, balanced diet as well as the healthy diet.
b. What does the health status of our community
look like?
Like in the rest of a
nation in Lane County, the health status along with the quality of life which
are intimately tied by the number of environmental as well as social factors involving
the poverty , income , geographic location, employment status , ethnicity, and race. The healths statuses influenced in the
community by the different social determinants where the health conditions
involve in which the people work, grow, born and age. Socioeconomic factors
like the food, educations, income, poverty, and security which is strongly
correlated by the outcomes of the health status (Livehealthylane, 2019).

4: Forces of Change Assessment: This assessment focuses
on identifying forces such as legislation, technology, and other impending
changes that affect the context in which the community and its public health
system operate. This answers the questions:

is occurring or might occur that affects the health of our community or the
local public health system?

of our community along with the local public health system
