History
shows that different nations come into existence with different kinds of
struggles, wars, and acts of heroism. All the economies which are newborn have
to face some crisis in beginning and need a true guideline to follow so it
could be saved from the crisis. The independence of United States is not much
more different from the other countries. Facing all the difficulties, at last
it was declared independent on 6 July 1776. It was achieved by the war with
Great Britain, and there was no longer Britain rule exist in the United States,
and they need new laws and constitution which could handle the newborn economy.
In August 1776, there was signing ceremony where the declaration was made
official in the office of Charles Thomson. In 1777, the declaration was still
in the difficulties, and the declaration was moved to Congress. After the
declaration of the Congress with the settlement of all the issues a new
constitution was created to check the regulatory framework of the country. In July
1789, Congress made new constitution, which was followed by the secretaries to
keep the records and the important documents in the custody of same department.
During the period of these initial five years there was continuous evolvement
in the secretary of the government, which could not stabilize the economy of
the United States. In 1790, congress provided a permanent capital to be
prominent in the different boundaries. At that time the temporary seat of the
government was moved again to Philadelphia. It was ordered that all the actions
would be plan according to a prescribed law. It was planned in streets and at
Arch. The new president John Adams moved the declaration from Philadelphia to
new federal government. For this purpose there was a journey of miles that had
to travel by the declaration.
The
people of the United States wanted to form a perfect union with establishment
of justice and want to provide defense to the public so that they could live in
the new economy with safety. In 1787 the federal government designed three
branches such as executives, legislative, and judicial. It was ensured that one
branch should not have too much power to use in government work. The
constitution was amended many times to get the best one. The first constitution
of the American was Article of Confederation, which was amended afterward and
being operated in the states. There were many tasked delegated to the Congress,
which was deliberated soon to the new government. A system of check and balance
was imposed to check the work regulatory of the branches that all are working
smoothly for the interest of the public. There were several issues raised by
the state representatives in the national legislature, which was representation
of the upper house. Another issue to face in the economy is to start the
practice of the outlaw in the southern states, congress agreed that they
wouldn’t be permitted to slave the trade before the 1808 and it had to return
to the owners of the slaves. In 1789, American established a new representative
with the 19 amendments, which was connected with the Bill of Rights. It was a
great contribution, and therefore Madison was considered as Father of the
constitution. With the 17 further amendments the constitution was ratified and
being enforced in the country from 1776- 1992. There were more than 200
constitutions were made, and through the changes now it becomes the more worthy
and reliable constitution followed by the government of the United States (G. S. Wood, 2012).
