Executive Summary of Comparison of
tourism between Oman and UAE
The
main objective of this report is to find the existing position of Oman in the
terms of tourism as compare to other countries. The first section of the report
will show the key position of Oman that where it is stand among the other
countries and it discuss about the positive and negative points of the tourism
in Oman. Tourism in Oman is trending but it has some issues as compare to the
tourism in UAE. The economy portion from tourism of the both countries shows
that how much tourism is developed in the countries. The last section of the
report is based on conclusion of both countries tourism industry and the
recommendations to improve the quality of tourism in Oman which will be helpful.
Introduction of Comparison of tourism between
Oman and UAE
The
main purpose of writing this report is to deal with the issues related to the
delay in Qman airlines as compared with the Airlines of UAE. It also represents
some recommendations which shows that the airlines of the Oman could be
improved the services by resolving these issues. The report will help to
determine the position of the Oman airways in front of Mr. Nasser Al Sinani,
the CEO of Oman air (J. C. Henderson).
United
Arab Emirates (UAE) with the help of grooming shopping, business and sun sea
sand beach to attract the people. UAE has a big market of the business trade
market and also have a proper airline services which put the visitors at ease.
The airline of UAE is less in number as compare to Oman but it follow the time
table and very rare to delay the flights. UAE attracts the people with a number
of variety which is main requirement of the public such as beach, shopping,
business place and adventurous places which add more values to the tourist
industry of the UAE.
The
main role in tourism is performed by the airways of the country which should be
perfect and comfortable for the passengers without facing any difficulty. The
main purpose of the report is to discuss the airways of the Oman that how it
have the influence on the tourism industry. In the past decades, Oman was
emerged as destination tourism in the tourism industry. It was considered as
best place to travel in Middle countries.
Discussion of Comparison of tourism between Oman and UAE
The
main factor which influence the tourism in the country is infrastructure safety
and the airlines services of the country. If these are perfect there will be
more trend of tourism in the country. World tourism and travel council ranked
the airlines of the UAE as 18th according to the services provided
them to the tourists. Aviation industry
in the UAE considered for around 20% contribution in the GDP. Tourism industry
perform key role in the UAE economy as Airline industry serves as a best
industry to it has such a large share in its GDP. The capability of UAE that
the Airline Industry of UAE offers a higher income generated is high as far as
the comparison ratio is concerned. A crew of more than 500 aircrafts and around
250 more are increased in the total number. The amalgamation of the Airline
Industry in the Middle East has a long term benefits and its share in the
country’s economy is for sure to rise.
UAE
is adopting core elements in the economic diversification which will give
facilities to the tourist. Government and non-government bodies coordinate with
the people to complete their actions in their best interest. While the study of
tourism in UAE shows that how natural resources was helpful for attracting the
visitors but they mold the resources in the best destination to visit. The
experience of tourism in UAE explain the factors that critically deal with the
major approaches to overcome the barriers in the tourism (Morakabati).

of Oman and UAE in terms of Tourism
Oman
and UAE are both engaged in developing the tourist industry, both the Gulf
countries are preferable for the visitors to explore their world (M. A. B.Siddique and Ghosh). Following are the
some advantages and characteristics and negative points which differentiate
each other in different terms:

The sultanate of Oman
attracts the tourists with the culture traditions as it owns the ancient places
and items to see the history and it also has the beautiful sight of beach. In
Oman the sightseeing in the Mosque is attractive for the eye and palm Jumeirah
Island is also an eye catching place. In UAE the beauty of beach and island
attracts the tourists. There is also a large business trade which is the reason
of attraction the customers.
2. Airline services of Comparison of

The major airlines of
sultanate of Oman is Oman Air, Alitalia, Gulf Air and many other which fly to
Oman with the best services providing to the customers. Airlines of UAE is
developed and appreciated by the whole world as it provide the services on time
and comfort services to the passengers and people prefer to travel with these
airline, this give positive impact to the tourism in the UAE. In recent period,
they spend US $4.1 billion on upgrading the airways services which treat more
passenger with their services.
3. Weather of Comparison of tourism
between Oman and UAE
In Oman, the weather is
almost based on desert with summer rains in the mountain areas. There are also monsoon
weather from mid-June to mid-September.
The rain falls in the summer moderate the temperature of the state. The
climate of the UAE is sunny and warm in the winter and desert. In winter became
the center of attraction of the people. The overall weather is dry and warm.
The climate is not much differ of both states.

similar. These are not similar at all. Many other aspects differs each other.
The economy of Oman was depend on oil industry which are trying to improve the
tourist industry with great efforts, and the targets could be achieved in
coming years. UAE owned developed tourist industry which increase the GDP and
include the country in developed nations.

The
findings shows that Oman has large number of resources which required efficient
use of them. The importance of tourism is observed above that how a country
could developed with the developed industry of the tourism. To develop the
tourism in Oman should be required improvement in airlines so that people could
find it more economical and comfort to travel in their holidays. There is also
requirement of qualified training to improve the level of the tourist industry
at local and international level. Government and non-government bodies
coordinate with the people to complete their actions in their best interest.
While the study of tourism in UAE shows that how natural resources was helpful
for attracting the visitors but they mold the resources in the best destination
for visit. The selling and shopping points add value to the tourism in the
country as it also provide opportunity for businesses. The people visits more in UAE for sports as
there are head of sports complex which is used by the whole world. Economic
wealth of the UAE is considerable to count it in wealthy economies. They spends
a huge amount of funds on Airways services which enables the visitors to visit
the UAE. It is considered as destination for spending the holidays with
families and to deal the business.
Both
countries are owned natural resources which could be utilized in a way to get
maximum revenue in the country. Oman needs to develop the tourist industry to
survive in the comparative world.
Recommendations of Comparison of tourism between
Oman and UAE
After
the comparison of the Oman with comparative country in tourist industry, it
should follow some perspectives to meet the requirements of the visitors:
1. The
economy of the Oman is based on Oil trading which effect with the decrease in
prices of oil, therefore it is necessary that it should be increase in the
tourist industry which could help to stable the economy as developed nation.
2. The
state of Oman is famous for traditional culture, people visits to see the
ancient of their accentors, it should be developed in modern way that people
prefer to visit the place with a concept to enjoy and also see the traditions
of Islam.
3. The
nightlife at Oman is not much more attractive by the people as compared to
other countries. These should be improvement in the night clubs and the music
concerts which are demand of the people as they come to enjoy in their busy
routine.
4. The
number of airlines are more as compared to the other country but still there is
poor services which decrease the number of passenger. There should be
management of airlines which work efficiently to develop the services to give
ease to the visitor.
5. There must be more new and innovative points
which could give the refreshment to the visitor with unique qualities.
6. To
develop the tourism in Oman should be required improvement in airlines so that
people could find it more economical and comfort to travel in their holidays.
7. The
transportation of every country play an important role in the country,
therefore there should be maximum ease for the customers to use the taxi
services with safety.
8. Here
should be build large business trade units so the people come there to deal their
business with different countries.
9. There
is complete stability in political environment so there should be sports
complexes so that people who are fond of games come to the country to visit in
different games season.
All
the recommendations are derived with the comparison of comparative country so
that Oman could also flourish the tourism industry to compensate the deficit in
Oil industry. There must be improvement in the industry as the country is owned
ancient and traditional culture which is admirable by the people (Y. Morakabati, Fletcher and Prideaux).
