Hard system thinking is approach related to real world problems with an ultimate purpose to get the objectives. The main characteristics of hard system thinking is the belief that the problem related real-world could be formulated in different ways such as desired state and to represent the alternative methods to work with desired state and present state. The hard system required to change the way of working by changing the method in system. The system is based on desired state and actual state of the project. The gap between these two states are always exist and the subject matter become that how to deal with this problem. The hard system thinking is naturally designed according to natural thinking. The design is considered to be proper and well defined in its means which is required to examine (L. M. Fisher, 2005).

Managers needs to adopt different methodologies to manage the projects to implement the project in the company. The project management needs to take in to practice the application of the hard system thinking program.

Describe the Systems Dynamics approach and explain its methodology? What are some of the weaknesses of this approach as identified by its critics? (refer to the article by Laurence Fisher: The Prophet of Unintended Consequences)

System dynamic is methodology for the examination and managing the difficult and hard feedback system which take place in business and society. There are general approaches which relates to the system dynamics;

·         The first approach is the map of relationships and use these method of understanding the possible outcomes which develop the theories about the problems. These are the most sophisticated approach to implement with the concern of the related business. In some cases there may be delayed in the decision making regarding the stability in the issues in the intervention of the problems.

·         The second approach is used to stimulate the dynamic relationship which used to explore the results of various amount of feedback. The significant point to remember this approach is the blending unique scene to get the feedback.

As concerned with the weaknesses of this model, the criticize on the model of the system thing of dynamic approach, it relates to a complex system which could be challenging for the completion of a specific task. The system of dynamic approach could be time consuming for a specific job. The understanding of dynamic system is more difficult task to do as compared with other developing model. These weaknesses reduced the efficiency of the project as well as in some cases there must be benefits regarding its strengths (S. P. Santos, Belton, & Howick, 2002).

 Explain how the Systems Dynamics can be valuable to managers?

System Dynamic is implemented in management to get the targeted goals. The corporate management of any business is to plan the strategic activities which are implemented by the managers. A large number of the consultants support the planning and sales of the company which require different tools and methodologies. Different examples of the dynamic system is used in decision making policy of the management. The management has to face the different stages of the decision making which are measures to relate with the situation of decision making about the business. Dynamic system may foresee about the side effects to react with the stimulation of the system (J. C. Cox, Webster, & Hammond, 2009).
