David’s father, aged 93 was
living in a nursing home in Australia who passed away during last stages of
therapy. David noticed his father was emotionally cold and distant. David
describes that Malcolm was also following tough routine and have money mind
without emotional children with children. He would never override his wife and
he was not physically abusive to children but would often raise his voice when
Julie was feeling irritated.
Mother of David
Julie had no mental illness, but
she saw a psychiatrist, and she also hates David for unknown reasons. She was
nasty woman who would always criticize David in every manner. She was showing
favoritism to peter and like to criticize David.
Brother of David
According to David, Peter was
always a favorite son even he was slow in early development and suffering from
tongue tie which affected his speech and language development. Furthermore, he
was not sharp, active and smart kid at school. Both brothers were never bonded
closely. However, they offer help to each other when they need. Peter became property
dealer like his father and married having two children and was living in
Western Australia. Peter becomes depression patient, then David contacts him
more often.
Personal History of David
Early Development of David
David was born healthy with
normal delivery, and his development was normal. He considered himself a smart
child at school. There is no evidence of major health concerns like sexual
trauma or physical abuse in development years.
Childhood of David
His childhood was not good. He
thinks that his mother always criticizes him and goes out to annoy him even
when he was three years. At age five she bought bicycle for peter for Christmas
who was younger. He collected some parts of bicycle and assembled to make bicycle
with the help of neighbor.
School years and early Adulthood and Relationship
He didn’t identify any issues with
making friends in school, but he was introvert. He always missed the emotional
warmth of his parents. David’s parents never showed more interest in school
activities and took no interest in education. During school, he was good at
athletics and competed for marathons. He has been regular runner during teenage
years and completed school well.
He was introvert, but he was some
friends from his neighborhood with whom he played regularly. Margaret was also
a friend from his neighborhood and was two years younger than him. They
affectionate with each other. Some disturbances also occurred, but they later
married. He started working as shop-assistant after school.
Marriage of David
In his early twenties, he left
his home when he got financially stable and married to Margaret at the age of
24. He was very supportive of Margaret when they got no baby. David always relied
on Margaret to manage family finances while he was involved in stock-taking and
overall management. While David was managing the business, Margret was looking
after two daughters. Margaret would come and spend time at the shop with the
two young daughters to helping out David.
Divorce of David
His marriage with Julie* lasted
10 years until she left him and three daughters. According to David, Julie had
become heavily dependent on alcohol, and she was having affairs with random men.
With time Julie’s situation became worse, and she became a problem for the
whole family. The situation was crucial, and later they got divorced.
