Due to the
development of technology and its use in different fields in order to get more
successful is another stream of competition in the developing world. The
advancement of technology is used to meet the required goals of the industries
in order to get more finished products in order to sale in the market. The use
of robots in different industries has been increased in order to get the best
output in an easy and effective way. The industrial robots were first
introduced in the 1954 and by the time of 1962, these robots were performing
different tasks like the spot welding, extracted die-castings. The robots were
started to perform variety of tasks and this has been seen that industrial
robots are responsible for reshaping the different industries of manufacturing
and other industries. Different types of robots are used indifferent industries
to fulfill the requirements of the industries in terms of the finished
products. Arc- Welding robots are mainly used in the steel and the automobile
manufacturing plants. The assembly robots are common in the manufacturing
industries as well, robots are an effective technology that reduces the waste,
they perform more accurately and consistently and have great speed, and they
have the extra time and give the output in the limited time. They are also used
to pick and pack the products. They are more efficient and fast in picking and
packing the products. Robots are mainly used in the CNC industries to perform
the tasks like drilling, milling and cutting (Dethlefs, Uhlmann and Eulitz).
Milling robots
are used to cut the materials from a mold so that they can create a specific
structure. Milling robots are helpful in producing the high quality parts for
an industry. Milling robots have multiple features in order to design the parts
or the products more efficiently and speedily so that the production rate of
the parts will increase. Drilling robots are used in many industries in order
to cut the labor cost and to improve the production speed of the industry as
well. As drilling is a harmful process for the humans in as it produces dust
and other harmful particles during the drilling process. By the use of the
drilling robots the human labor and workers can be removed from the dangerous
environment. Every drilling robot is customized with the end of arm tooling
(EOAT), thee machineries are specialized to perform the drilling functions and
fulfill the drilling requirements. Cutting robots are another form of robots
used in the removing of the material from a place of the work or cutting robots
divide the work piece into many small parts. Cutting robots are more
appropriate, precise and are extremely accurate in terms of their performance.
The cutting robots and their cutting process depend on the type of the product
on which the cutting process will be done. The product and the material type
will help you to identify which type of cutter or which type of blade will be
used during the cutting process. Hence robots are used in different industries
and different processes (E. and Eulitz).
