I got the best financial lesson in my life when I saw how my mother as a housewife had to depend on my father to give money for all the expenses. It was the reaction from my father that was really surprising for me. Sometimes, when my mother was asking money to buy her new clothing, my father insulted her by saying that my mother should find money for her expenses and not only count on him.

Since that, I swore to myself that I would never be in my mother’s position. It was quite ironic for me to see how my father disrespect my mother because she could not earn her own money. Then I decided to educate myself about all the things I need to know about finance. The reason is because I want to fill myself with enough knowledge so that I could manage my finances and become a financial independent woman.

I also started to invest a small amount of money that I got from my first job. My financial learning taught me that investment would give more benefits rather than a normal saving. Slowly but sure, my investment grows and give significant benefits for me. Now, I have become a financially independent woman who takes charge of my own money and make my life become more comfortable. Yes, if we could take charge of our money, definitely our life would be more comfortable because we would not have to ask anyone to buy anything for us.

My advice for other women is, learn all you need to know about finance and do your best to become a financially independent woman. By doing this, you would able to take charge of your money, get a more comfortable life, and investment is one of the best ways to achieve this.

Being a financially independent woman is quite important for every single woman nowadays. The reason is obvious, if we want to achieve success and get a better life, then we should never depend on anyone, especially in financial context. As a woman, we can prove that we also can earn our own money and become independent as men can do. Plus, with being a financially independent woman, you also will raise your dignity as well.

Is Money Really that Essential?

I bet all of us must have heard this type of question, maybe even for more than once. The truth is, our parents and family might have taught us one fundamental thing, “love makes us alive.” But we all know that reality does not teach us the same way. For more convincing examples, take a look at the people who have to experience asthma, and how they have to spend money on their oxygen in inhalers. Thus, even the air that we need to breathe sometimes is not free.

If you would answer the question above with saying that money is not really that essential, then can you ever get any better life without having to spend money? I meant, as a woman who is living in these modern days, if you want a better life, then you need to have a good job to support your life, and how you could get a good job? The answer is obvious, you only can get a good job if you fill yourself with high and qualified education. Then again, there is no such thing like free education. Even if there are some organizations that providing free education for poor students, but still, that is not available for a high education that would give you a great degree. Hence, the formula is simple, to get a better life, you need to have a good job, and to get a good job, you need to earn high and qualified education. For that, you need money so that you can fill your knowledge with the best education.

Another reason for us to say that money is really that essential is that, as a woman, we have to prove our dignity in front of men. One thing that we cannot deny is that, some men still underestimate their wives since they are just housewives, just stay home, and not doing any job. Thus, as housewives, those women have only fewer or even no rights than the husbands to decide every single decision for the family since the wives do not contribute to the family’s finance. On the other hand, husbands would respect their wife more if they could also do outside job and contribute to the finance.

There are many reasons to make us agree that money is really that essential. Even though people say that money cannot buy us happiness, but one thing to be noted here is that, money can give you many ways to achieve happiness in your life. The reality is that, whenever we think about money, what is the real purpose of money, and also about people with lots of money. With Money, the Wealth is on Our Hand

One of the amazing quotes says that’ “Wealth consists not in having great possessions but in having few wants.” Now having few wants might be the finest insurance that we can have to fight with the greediness. As women, some of us might feel jealous of other women could buy a nice and branded handbag, even though we already have a nice one. On the other, some people who do not have any expensive or branded things in their life might feel unhappy and also imagine for people who might have to survive to get the fundamental need like food. Thus, money is the only thing that would decide whether we are wealthy or not in reality.
