The type of qualitative methodology which I
think the most suitable to my research would be “Action Research.” The reason
is that, in my research, the topic is not limited to any specific organization.
Instead, my research is more broadly analyze the reason and search for the
solutions for the main topic. My research also analyzed the topic by using a broad
angle which is the country, and not using a view perspective of any specific
company or organizations in the country. Plus, I also collected the data for my
research which based on the country information, not based on one any
particular organization located in that country. In addition, I also use a
broad and wide-ranging data to get a proper understanding about the behaviors
which related to my research topic which is about “Consumer’s involvement and
purchasing behaviors for food products in UAE.”

In
what way could you contextualize your research from a qualitative perspective?
I contextualized my research with using the
information that I get from some aspects as mentioned in my research like;
situational, specific situation, enduring involvement along with the cultural
dimensions which influenced the business setting across the UAE. In my
research, I have also mentioned that cultural dimensions have been proven as
the most influenced which affected the behaviors of consumers (Kim, Ferrin,
& Rao, 2008).
I also contextualized how the culture in the country has impacted on the
consumer’s involvement as well. I have contextualized all the important
measures to support my research and to support a better understanding for the
readers as well.
Which
sampling methods would be most valuable for your data collection?
The sampling method which most valuable for
my data collection would be “Cluster Sampling.” The reason is that I involved
the selection of a particular population which is the people along with the
culture in UAE as identifiable features. I also studied the characteristics and
behaviors of the people there related to my research topic. Since the topic for
my research is about consumer behaviors for food products in UAE, therefore,
the “cluster sampling” has become a foundation for me to gather the data
collection which will support on my research as well.

What
are the key differences in planning your research from a quantitative and
qualitative perspective?
The key differences in planning my research
could be seen from the qualitative perspective since the data collection of my
research is not countable. The data collected from my research is also rich,
and give the directional views about how the thoughts, senses, and the
consideration from the people along with the cultural dimension in the UAE,
which always becomes the foundation of every single decision that they made. In
my research, I also generally put the attention more from the angle or opinion
and view from the people, since I described in my research on how the
perception of people in UAE really able to influence on the preference and
buying behavior towards the food products in the country (Marieke De Mooij & Hofstede, 2011).
