Essay on Leadership and Influence

 Leadership knowledge is an interesting knowledge that every single human being will love to have it. Well, the same thing has happened to me as well. Ever since I was a kid, I have a big interest in leadership. Hence, I grow up as a person who loves leading the teams or managing any events. I would never waste any opportunity to speak and sharpen my skills to become a good leader. For this reason, I put my effort into attending some courses and also fill my knowledge with reading so that I could earn the main skills required to be a good leader.

Diving on the Internet was one of my hobbies that I used to do throughout my graduate study. Not only this, I also always tried to help my classmates by bringing out simplest ways that I got from the Internet to understand the lecturer topic.

First I reached Turkey about five years ago, there was quite tough in submitting my admission to universities. I have also found out that not only me who had to experience this situation. In fact, there are thousands of foreign students and refugees that unable to submit their admissions due to the universities required all of us to speak in Turkish language.

But this case did not stop me, instead, I did comprehensive research to find out everything I need to know around the requirements for admission in Turkish Universities. Once I got the results, I published 27 pages contain guidance for all the international students to help them out in saving their money and time. The guide was hit and gained thousand online viewers which motivated me to build my own website which details on admission requirements for 150 universities in Turkey.

After I joined the Leadership Engineering course provided by Human Restart Organization and took 144 hours of courses, I can see the improvement in my communication, leadership, and also management skills as well. More than this, I even came up to get the highest score among the other participant in this course. Due to my achievement, this course has selected me to become one of the members of its admission committee.

This course has also given me a chance to meet some new friends from various countries across the world. Along with them, I have established the Insan Team, which is a volunteer team that aims to support, guide, train, and offering assistance to all of the refugees in the city. For me, that was the most fundamental moment that I had in my life when I could take turn with other members in leading the team, interviewing the new volunteers, and also helping them to apply their skills to society. There were lots of activities that we have succeeded to organize, the fund for these activities we got from the donation given by some business persons and organizations.

My dream now is to achieve the opportunity to continue my studies in the United Kingdom since I have realized that this will definitely give me many benefits besides than education that I will get. I believe that I will also get the chance to have new friends and also get closer to business professionals in the UK.
