It is a fact that the issue of gender inequality and
women’s rights has been persistent throughout history, and it is still going on
with its different elements. It is believed that technology has changed so
much, and world has progressed so much in so many ways. Therefore women are
seen as equal sections of society. But the fact of the matter is that women are
still not treated equally in society like they are not given equal
opportunities at job like men, and women are even paid less as compared to men.
Moreover, women's participation in different fields is not as convenient as it
is for men. Politics is an important aspect of every society, and women can use
the power of politics to get things fixed. But this has not been the case so
far because even women's participation and representation in politics is also
very low in numbers. This issue is visible and severe in the developing world.
So, major scope of the study is to evaluate role of female politicians in
progress for women’s equality, like what has been achieved so far, and what
could not have been achieved. This research is crucial for understanding the
issue of female politicians’ performance as well as gender inequality across
the globe, particularly in the developing world.

Preliminary Evidence of
The Progress of Female Politicians in Advancing the Women’s Equality
It is important to describe some results taken as
preliminary evidence for the research topic so that it can be known what kinds
of issues and aspects there are. Further detailed evidence will be provided on
the basis of evidence found in the early stages of the research. So, here in
this section some of the findings based on early evidence on the issue are presented. According to
findings of gender examinations of labor markets, women are more expected to be
unemployed than men. In other words
women’s does not get job as easily as men get. In global, women are still
getting less paid than men despite new
laws that restrict unequal payment. Women in the developing world are still
less possible to have access to social security.
However, globally women still have less access to financial institutions than men. So far, women are still restricted
to achieve the highest leadership place in the
company. Most of the CEOs around the world are men. Women are still less
possible to turn out as entrepreneurs, and most of the women even have to face
complicated drawbacks for starting their own
business. Harassment and violence in the workplace still affect women in
accordance with age, income, or social status.
Gender discrimination issues are evident in many workplaces.
