Category: Arts & Education Paper Type: Essay Writing Reference: APA Words: 700

You must have heard while tasting any kind of wine about the word “complexity” or “wine is complex” but what does this word complexity literally means and how is it linked with the most demanding food product? Wine is one of the most complexes and demanding food products. Does everyone know that wine is made up of grapes but wait? Just from grapes? No, wine is made up of or consists of hundreds and hundreds of potentially volatile substances, along with this it also has a diverse range of different chemical compounds that can be derived directly or indirectly from the pure and original grapes, this is the only reason wine is complex due to number of different compounds used in it. This is a must food product on dinners or gatherings, parties are incomplete without the availability of wine. There is not just one kind of wine but this food product has a huge variety. Mainly red wine and white wine are considered to be the famous one. They are different in taste from one another and there can be several different reasons like its processing method.

There is no doubt in it that there are multiple wine businesses, complexity word in the wine refers to the amalgamation of different kind of flavors and their aromas evolving over the process of tasting session.

Role of wine consumers and wine professionals

Wine professionals are the ones who are experts in making wine and they know its secret recipe. Wine consumers are the ones who buy wine from the market which have been prepared by the professionals and through different studies, it came out that both of them have very different constructs of apparent complexity in the wine. For the wine consumers, the most important thing or aspect of complexity is their experience while tasting a specific kind of wine along with the perceived quality. While secondary things are also important but their list comes after tasting, a list of secondary things is brand of wine, an image which is made up of the wine bottle or logo you can also say and the region from where the wine comes. In short, consumers buy wine just for their enjoyment and pleasure.

On the other side, wine professionals look for the quality of the grape, size of a grape, soil which they have to use, different operations related to processing the wine and the packaging comes on the last because it should also look decent and presentable. Presentation is the thing that attracts customers as well so the bottle of wine should be decent too with a proper logo and brand name. Another important point that has been noticed is that consumers are not well aware of the difference between red wine and white wine. They think that both these kinds are the same but here only professionals know the difference because they prepare it and they also have much experience in doing so. Wine professionals are the ones who are playing one of the most important roles as they make a perfect kind of wine according to the taste of consumers, all requirements are being fulfilled by the professionals of different customers.

Human beings have been drinking wine for a quiet long time. Many different archeologists also discovered its consumption in Georgia dated to circa 600 BC. Production of wine took place in America dated 4100 BC. So from here, it can be concluded how important wine is important for everyone.
