Introduction of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

CSR is the short form of corporate social responsibility; it is a kind of self-regulating business model that not only helps any of the company to be socially accountable just for itself but I also help its stakeholders and common people as well. Through practicing, corporate social responsibility is also termed as corporate citizenship. Different type of the companies can become conscious of the kind of impact they are having on different kind of aspects of social, environmental, society and economic.

Getting engaged in the CSR literally means that in the common or ordinary course of the business, a company itself is operating in different kind of ways that become a cause of enhancing the environment and a society as compared to contributing in a negative way.

Corporate social responsibility itself is one of the broad concept that can take many kind of the forms at a time depending on the industry or a company. Through the programs of CSR and different efforts being done by the volunteer’s society can get benefit through business while boosting their brands. 

· Corporate social responsibility is not just important for the company but it is equally important for the consumers as well.

· Corporate responsibility programs are one of the greatest ways to raise morale into any kind of the workplace.

· Starbucks, one of the famous coffee brand which is being loved by almost everyone is also a leader in the creation of corporate social responsibility programs in different aspects of the business.

For any of the company to be socially responsible enough, very first thing is that company needs to accountable not just for itself but for its shareholders as well. There are many kind of the companies that often adopt CSR programs have grown their business to that point from where they can give something back to the society as well. Therefore, CSR is one of the primarily strategy for many of the large corporations. Here is one another important point, more successful and visible any of the corporation is, there comes more responsibility to set up the trends of ethical behavior for its nobles, competition and the industry.

By now it is clearly understood that how important this program and their efforts are not just for their company but for the employees and stakeholders as well. Along with this, there are many of the companies that now focus on the few CSR categories too.

Efforts associated with the environment is one of the primary focus of the Corporate Social Responsibility. Different kind of businesses apart from their size have very large of the carbon footprints. Any kind of the step being taken for the reduction of those footprints are considered to be good enough for the company as well as the society.

Businesses become socially responsible or in another words they consider it their responsibility through donating money, different kind of products and services to the social causes. As the company gains fame and become large enough, they tend to have many kind of resources that become a source of benefiting charities and many different local programs.

Through treating employees fairly and ethically, many kind of the companies can also demonstrate their social responsibility in this way.

Different kind of volunteer events are being arranged and attending those events says much about the sincerity of a company. By doing good deeds with others and in return not expecting anything from anyone, many of the companies can also express their concern related to the different issues and pledge to the certain organizations.

Things to avoid while creating a socially responsible business model.

To become socially responsible business it is very simple and easy but there are few things which for sure needs to be avoided while this whole process takes place.

Different businesses should try to avoid being a part or participating in charitable efforts that are not specially related to their ethical standards or core business focus in any of the way. In the place of just sending money blindly to any of the organization which one is totally unaware of, it is better to find a non-profit in which company believes totally.

Try to avoid using the CSR opportunities merely for the purpose of marketing. Schmidt once said that running a corporate responsibility program as one of the quick marketing scheme can become a source of backfire when any business doesn’t allow through. Employees as well as the consumers, both should act positively to the company they are working for that can embrace the long term social responsibility.

If any business leader is holding any kind of the sustainable activities that are not being inquired legally by now, then don’t just sit idle and wait for it. Through the adoption of socially responsible norms, leader can set their own bar for their industry and refine the whole process. There is no doubt in it that undertaking the initiative of CSR by any of the company related to their business is considered to be truly a win for everyone involved in it. Environmental impact of all the actions being done by the leader will not just help to appeal towards the socially conscious employees and the consumers but it can also help in making a real difference in the whole world.

It causes a positive impact on the business, environment, employees, stakeholders and the consumers as well. It helps in improving the image of a company or a business, helps in building up a brand and motivates the leaders of different businesses as an owner.

Diary from 17/10/2019 to 7/01/2020

Starting from November, 17’2019. It is the month when winters start coming. It is the month before Christmas. Everyone gets excited. As only 13 days are left for the month of December to start so on the first day I should start my day by getting up early in the morning and having a good breakfast after doing my morning walk. I go to university and spend time with my friends and enjoy chitchatting with them. After coming back to home, I need to have my lunch and take some rest. In the evening I go to gym and while returning from the gym, I visit the market to see new stuff for the winter season. I see markets and shops decorated with Christmas trees and all. People covering them with scarfs and long coats. Cold breeze often plays with the cheeks on everyone’s face. After this, I come back to home and eat my dinner with my family. We talk about some random topics just to spend time with another. After having dinner, I complete my work which I have been assigned in the university and go to bed for sleep.

Same routine goes through just a small change, at days I visit my grandparents’ house and spend some time with them and this usually happens on weekends as everyone including me is so busy in their lives that it becomes really difficult to take time.

For the month of December I have some special plans with my family as winter holidays plus Christmas break will come. I love outing and visiting new places so we have a plan we will visit a nearby town just to keep our minds diverted and have some break.

Two days before Christmas 25th December, 2019 we will come back and have a plan of buying some decoration stuff to decorate our home as well as Grandparent’s too. This will make them happy too. I will also buy some gifts for my friends to give them on Christmas and as a New Year gift. These gifts will not be really expensive but will show love and affection.

On the day of Christmas I have a plan with my family to visit the church and after coming back from church we will have our breakfast together. Then I will visit my friends to meet them and great them. I hope to set a specific spot where all of us can come and meet everyone and exchange gifts. We will have lunch together. Because at night whole family will be gathered at our grandparents place, my uncle, aunts and cousins. We will have dinner together. First we will cook it together and then eat it. We will have fun there because this is the time of year when all of us get to meet one another. We wait for this day so badly. We will spend night there by talking and having fun. Next morning we will come back home and have some rest.

I will start my gym again as I have been missed it already due to vacations and gatherings. I am much concerned about my diet and fitness. New Year eve is another major day for which all of us wait. This is the day for friends. I will be out with my friends and we will watch fireworks and do different stuff according to the wish list of every friend.

On 1st January, 2020 start of a new day with new hopes and wishes. I have some important things and motivations in my mind which I need to complete. I will be graduating soon and I will be finding a job according to my need and demands. Well till the day of 7th January, 2020 we will be still having off from university so I will be busy in maintaining my fitness. Taking care of my house. Cleaning it and making some food as well because my parents will be gone to their jobs.
