Katariina Rosenblatt shared her personal experience of human trafficking in her book “Stolen: The True Story of a Sex Trafficking Survivor”. The problem of human trafficking is not new but it is advancing in many countries. According to an estimate, annually about 300,000 American Children are being lured in the sex trade (Katherinescottjones. com, 2015).

In the business age of children is neglected as some children are as young as eight years only. According to records, 90% of the victims are never rescued. Katariina Rosenblatt is one of the survivors who successfully escaped from trafficking. The girl was also under the influence of threats by the traffickers who were running ring from their hotel. After that, she was trafficked by the father of a middle school friend at Gingerbread house in prevention luncheon. She was rescued by a nonprofit child advocacy center (Givingcompass. org, 2019).

The center advocates children on annual luncheon and invites motivational speakers to increase awareness about child abuse in the Shreveport community. Before that Luncheon was never featured as a survivor of human trafficking and facilitator to save the children from being trafficked. The people involved in the society are the poise faces of society that can never be imagined as it before (Givingcompass. org, 2019).

 The trafficking of children and women for sexual exploitation is of different types. One of the most known types of women trafficking is through transnational shadow market in which sex traffickers use recruiting method for controlling women by using false documentation. They use legal documents and tourist visas to enter the trafficked women in the destination countries. By using false documents, she becomes more vulnerable as she comes illegally (Katherinescottjones. com, 2015).

Commonly the society is represented by some representative groups and such groups are surrounded by individuals those who seek to find identification (Shreveporttimes. com, 2017). Society interplay an important role for the individuals and the groups of individuals who often reject members by claiming their identity. Society is supposed to aspect all the control for the process of identification, fraud in a relationship, and power for validation of dependent and independent identity (Katherinescottjones. com, 2015).

The book connects the real story with the role of society. throughout the book, the author mentioned that Jesus saved her that shows her dignity and respect for her god. Human trafficking is known as a global term that encompasses all sort of trafficking such as forced to prostitution, labor trafficking, and sex trafficking. The worst thing is child trafficking for sex purposes. Exploiting labor in the workplace is also another sort of sex trafficking. Unlike to different children, those who were sold by their own parents, homegrown trafficking is increasing annually (Shreveporttimes. com, 2017)

Children are exploited by young girls and traffickers. Rosenblatt was targeted by the girl and the young girl under the influence of traffickers took her hand for friendship. She was addressed by her pimp to do so. Pimps are the members of society who work to arrange the sexual encounter between the clients and victims. There is a number of ways to deal with the victims such as through threats, forces, time of manipulation, trickery violence (Katherinescottjones. com, 2015).

In her story, another old man had a major role that convinced her friends. The process was involving gifts, compliments, and bonding between the victims and trafficking persons. Trafficking is a bad crime, but it is becoming more higher. The price of girls and children involved in the process are changing. Initially, traffickers kidnapped her, and she called her mother from a payphone and her mother succeed in rescuing her and then at the age of teen she was again targeted by the traffickers (Givingcompass. org, 2019).

Traffickers recruit children from their social media accounts, therefore, school students should be educated properly about human trafficking and sex trafficking. She was targeted at the apartment complex, as mentioned in her book, and the people involved in the crime were her school friends and she was sold to a man who had AIDS (Shreveporttimes. com, 2017).

She mentioned that she was connected with individuals through the justice system and they connected to use the resources for her recovery. The steps she took for recovery are listed below,

After escaping and rescuing herself from sex trafficking, she went through years of therapy.

She developed strong connections with the people connected with the justice system.

  Rosenblatt went on to earn a bachelor’s degree of management and her law degree from the St. Thomas University in Florida.

The findings of the book reveal shared characteristics and entrapment factors between the traffickers and victims. The findings also suggest that more investigation is required to control by specific kind of powers (Katherinescottjones. com, 2015).

By taking into account the roles of all the characters in the book, it can be concluded that males are more involved in child trafficking as well as sex trafficking. The author of the book suggested the need for anti-trafficking professionals (Shreveporttimes. com, 2017). The professional can cognizant victims through perceiving the position provided by the social service providers, law enforcement agencies, and the other active sources.

 The important concept to reduce the crime is through increasing knowledge of students at elementary levels so in their real life they keep themselves away from sex trafficking. The teachers and parents can train students to be a good and useful part of society (Shreveporttimes. com, 2017; Sun-sentinel. com, 2014).

In the present work, the book is analyzed to identify the highlighted community of our society involved in sex trafficking. The analysis demonstrates that in sex trafficking more than 90% of workers are male members of our society. The special training class is required to be introduced in society to reduce the issues.
