Peter was frisked into the waiting area of the airport with semi head down on the table remembering the old days. The golden days of his life! As a child, I had practised splendid laugh as a most illustrious laugh but how swiftly life turned that grey as it is now. The jingles by the church's bells ringing out and the lustiest peals that I ever heard. Ding, dong, clash, bells, clang and hammer. Oh, glorious sounds, giving new birth to a heart. The meadows I loved to walk, fog of winter snowy days, cold, stirring and clear sky in the night. The day of Christmas piping for the blood in heart, golden sunlight, sweet fresh air, merry bells, gifts from loved ones in shinny golden papers, and heavenly golden sky. Overwhelming beauty with fine fellows of that time. Oh Glorious, Glorious my God. I loved to wait for Santa with them. All they turned old enough now that it seems decades without them.
