1. Main point of the reading of Intersectionality, Identity Politics, and Violence against Women of Color

After reading the chapter “mapping and margin” The main point/argument of the Author “Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw” is about the violence against the Women of Color, Identity politics, Intersectionality. The central ideas where the author focused is advance the telling of that location by exploring the race and gender dimensions of violence against women of color. The focused of author is on two main arguments, male violence against the women rape and battering which is also supposed the experiences of women color and the frequently products is intersecting the patterns of sexism an racism, in what way these experiences  tend to be represented. The authors also suggested the intersectionality which offers the method of the mediating the tension among the assertions of the various identities and it is also ongoing group’s politics

In the last two decades , the women organized against the routine of the violence which is also shapes their lives , and drawing the strength of shared experiences , where the women has authorized regarding to the political demands by the millions of speaks which is more powerfully than the pleas of the various isolated idea’s. This type of politicization turns the transformation which understood the violence against women. The elision of the different problematic in context of violence of women which often shaped by the various identities of the dimensions like class race. Therefore ignoring the difference in the groups which is frequently divided the tensions between the groups to identify the politics of frustrates where efforts is politicize violence against women.

Now the identify polices has various tensions in the dominant conceptions of the social justices , gender, race and various identity categories which is often treated the mainstreams  where the liberal discourse like vestiges of dominations an bias of intrinsically negative frameworks.

Whereas author also used the concepts of the intersectionality which is also presented different ways in the race of gendered which also interact the shape and has the multiple dimension of the employment experiences of the Black women. Therefore there are three ways where the authors placed their points

·         Bartering and Structural intersectionality

·         Rape and Structural intersectionality

·         Political Intersectionality

In all these points the arguments of authors is placed, in the Bartering and Structural intersectionality, color of women is differently situated by the social, political, economic worlds. When efforts is reforms under the behalf of women and it also neglect the color of women and are less likely to have their wants and needs to meet that women who are racially privileged. To the women color the consoler provides the provides the various crisis of rape for the color of women, and also reports the important promotions where the resources is allocated. Author also place his arguments in the political intersectionality which also highlights the fact of the women and the color also situated in the least two subordinated group where he frequently pursues the political and conflicting agendas.
